I can't be the only one who has accidentally over-leveled a pet or just changed their mind about what team it's on for festivals and stuff.
so how about a philter that will remove all exp from a pet and reset its level to zero (optional: you get an exp orb at the level the pet was before philter)
It doesn't change a lot in the grand scheme of things but would remove some minor irritation and gives us a chance to use old reuse old pets who aren't great for end game content but would be awesome for board teams

I would support this! If it was an orb, I think it should only be able to work on the pet it was "extracted" from - otherwise it's just going to become a "get levels quick" party with people capturing wild level 75 Sylesties and un-levelling them to use on others.

I support as long as its not something like a "remove xp to give to x pet" and more like "oopsy i now have a lvl 31 pet for boards and the rest are 30"

Support for the reset philter, but I think the orb idea would turn into a "catch level 75s in fest zones and use them to farm orbs" situation

What about if the orbs were not able to be sold on broker and only get half of the exp form the extraction?

i've been thinking about this for a little while.

what if you did get exp orbs or some kind of item for "draining" levels from a pet, but you got items locked to the type of pet they were? such as tamed, purebred, generated, etc.

So... I've been thinking about this ever since I saw the suggestion.

On the one hand, I like the idea of being able to take a pet back to level zero, especially if I'd like to downgrade an endgame team to a board team or an arena team.

However... I can see this being abused really easily, especially with the addition of you receiving a leveling orb for doing it. There are kind people that lend out their fully leveled, fully ranked teams to other players to be able to beat certain content (like special max level event bosses that have existed in festival zones in the past). How terrible and devastating would it be for a team to be lent out and someone to de-level all of those pets, then use up the leveling orbs obtained on their own pets?

I'd see this being less risky if there is no 'reward' for deleveling a pet. Then there wouldn't really be a reason for someone to really think about doing this to pets they're borrowing from others. Once you delevel to zero, the only way back up is to retrain. No incentive to do it other than wanting to use those pets for another purpose. Also gets rid of the idea of catching level 75 pets, draining them, then tossing them.

Also, there should be a few warnings pop up before you can actually delevel, just so no one does it by accident.

Agree with Mikazukichan.

Support on reset level, and warning/confirmation to prevent misclicks.
No support on gaining anything from it.
