When I go to the Stables and click on the revive option it is greyed out.

You have to remove your pet from your party first to stable revive it. :3

Oh okay thank you! It actually looks like its healing itself now anyway lol

So long as they aren't in battle (or in the lv60+ area the Lost Grove) pets will heal over time, slowly regaining hp and losing any built-up mana charge, including recovering from being knocked unconscious.
You can also revive pets in your party using Draughts
Pets that are unconscious from hunger will recover once fed
