I will sometimes see people have pages for their hatchery instead of tabs. Can someone please tell me if you have to buy those or not...?

Hatcheries differ from stables in that they have no limit. So they can have dozens of pages (if you have that many eggs/hatchlings/adolescents) in your hatchery with no limit.
This may come to chance later with potential updates, to try and limit breeding.

I am currently working on a breeding experiment, and am just playing around with it all. I will be having some problems with my tabs though :/
