Since I've just got out of the pit of despair that is hiatus, I decided to do a little interest check with a couple of prompts; some old, some new. Most of these will be small group roleplays, I might be interested in doing a one on one but that depends on how many people want to do a group roleplay.

Prompts:

Sea of Monsters

(Fantasy, Adventure, and a little bit of Horror sprinkled in.)

"Sea of Monsters" is a roleplay set on a ship sailing across a sea full of beasts. Your character could be a part of the ship's staff, or a wealthy politician traveling to another country for a democratic meeting, maybe you're a gun for hire looking to get the head of one of the leviathans haunting these very waters.

The group will start on the northern docks of the great city, Sirus, traveling to the capital of a small country. The journey is treacherous but hopefully whatever on the other side of the ocean is worth it.

There will be quite a bit of action in the roleplay, there is a chance for your character to die/get swallowed by the sea. You can make another character, but in the backstory, you'll have to put down a simple sentence of how they reacted during the past plot before your previous character died.

Teeth

(Post-Apocalyptic, Darker Themes, If you don't like the idea of bunches of teeth then don't join.)

A virus has spread over the modern world, not the one you know, nor the classic one that brings the dead from their graves in masses. Dentemissa is the name given to the virus that has wreaked havoc on the human population for the past five years, almost every other person is now just a mass of teeth protruding from the skin of the disease's victims. Through the entire process, the person is still alive and in a lot of pain, they will live until they eventually die of starvation. Some will resort to cannibalization, eating whatever that moves at an arm's distance. The virus is of course passed through saliva or blood, so walking through the masses of teeth-covered abominations is highly dangerous.

Your character is a survivor, tracking their way through the wastes to hopefully find new people to try and cultivate a new world with. They will most likely be losing hope in this dream upon viewing how many have turned. Others will task themselves with putting their fellow humans out of their misery, finding having company around might be a hindrance, but who knows, maybe a little bit of human contact won't be too bad.

Your character can also die in this one, but it will also be way more open to people passing through roleplays.

An Age Without Gods - Reboot

(Dark Fantasy)

"An Age Without Gods" begins Forty-Years after a mass extinction of deities. These deities had kept the world in line and commanded magic to flow through every species, even humans. But, with the gods gone most magic has withered, bringing down most species with it and leaving behind blood-thirsty husks.
The gods did leave behind some hope, rare and widely hunted for their blue blood that can bring magic to the person who drinks it, God Spawn; born from shards of the deceased deities. God Spawn look much like humans, their main distinctions being their blue blood, their unruly agility and strength, and a strange/off-putting gleam in their eye (unintentional).
God Spawn are also known for their incredibly strong magic that they hold within themselves, they are not nearly as strong as their god ancestors but they are essentially magic batteries. Most humans kill them and use their blood to enchant their talismans/staves/Amulets, others treat them like gods, hoping that they will be graced by their magic and become powerful once more, some even use them as weapons, placing them in their militaries as ultimate killing machines or healers; Able to heal or slaughter hundreds of soldiers at a time, lastly, only seen in one kingdom known only for its peace and prosperity, welcoming minorities and holding celebrations open to anyone, this place is called Aelythyr, Ruled by a fair king who is God Spawn himself.
Our characters have the goal of getting to Aelythyr, all of which are god-spawn with different backgrounds, powers will differ and you can be creative with them, as long as they aren't op.

If anyone wants to suggest anything for a one on one here are a couple of requirements for my best roleplaying experience:

> Absolutely no Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, or Sexism, that will get you immediately blacklisted.
> To continue, this is more of a preference; I'm fine with straight characters, but most of my characters lean toward being of the Alphabet Mafia (LGBTQ+)/being masculine.
> I am totally fine with romance, just nothing dirty, after all this website has children on it.
> Profanity is fine, just don't make it a key part of your character's personality.
> No perfect or overly flawed characters, they aren't fun to role play with.
>I'd appreciate it if my partner used semi-literate grammar and gave me at least three sentences when replying. (I'm sorry if I write a book when I reply)
> I would also appreciate it if you would be patient with me because I have gotten busy.
> Other than that, have fun and tell me some of your roleplay needs to.

Alright, I'll sign you up for all three! if no one else is interested, at least "Teeth" could be worked into a one-on-one if that sounds good?

Oh wow, I was a little off-put about the teeth one, but I love post-apocalyptic plots so you can definitely write me up for any of these themes ^^

I totally understand being put off by Teeth, but it's supposed to leave a creepy feeling. I just wanted to work on my horror narrative, to be completely honest with you.

I'll sign you up for all of them, just because this is an interest check, not a vote. ^^ Hopefully we can get more applicants soon.

ok, this is so cool! are there any RPS where its possible i can do a 1 on 1? RPs with multiple people trigger my stress levels.

also, can there be dinosaurs or kaiju or dragons any form of awesome reptile?

Also, an Age without Gods makes me think of the comic where the Greek Gods fight Godzilla and actually LOSE.

"Teeth" is the most open for a one on one setting, but the whole story's environment is set in stone with the (lovingly nicknamed) "Teeth Zombies". Well, the other stories don't have very flexible settings either- they're just minimally explained as a small opening into the actual lore when I get more interest for the prompts.

The closest I have to "Awesome Reptiles" is "Sea of Monsters", but it's much more of a fish/non-vertebrate thing. (Krackens and a few original beasts that are very "fishy".)

Well, "An Age Without Gods" is not at all based on already existing deities, it's built in a way so that people can world build by creating an already passed (I don't know how to put it) god for their character. After the passing of the deities, everything fantastical died off with them so the world is left in shambles with a mass extinction of everything magic. (other than the God Spawn themselves)
