Into the Depths (RP THREAD)

There is a strange underwater world that you've always wanted to explore, whether it be just shallow waters or the long and scary ocean floor that nobody's been to. To put it simply, you loved the ocean. A few weeks go by, and one day you went to sleep in the middle of the day because there was nothing to do. But when you woke up again, you found that you weren't in your bed, or anywhere near it in fact. What you did know is you saw water, everywhere. Soon enough, you realized that you were a (Sylvorpa, Kelpari, or other (See Rule 6), you choose). You were confused and shocked, but since this was basically your dream you went with it. Its now your turn to explore the unknown and dark world.

Note: The rp starts a bit after you turned into a Sylesti. You are already used to being the Sylesti you are and know the basics.

Corruption

Corrupt spun in circles as it swam around the water, giggling and looking around


Michael

Mike tried to keep up with Corrupt, looking around cautiously while following them

Sarah

She stretched her legs, seeing how they quickly resembled the tones of the sand under her body. She turned her head to look at her fins that were turning part of the color of the seabed, fascinating her just like the first day she woke up with this new body.
She looked forward and pushed herself into a swift swim, a trait she had acquired thanks to her cowardly nature, fleeing in every stressful situation that came her way. She moved as mistress of the waters to find some objective of her interest today, being alert to her surroundings while she allowed her body to change color according to the water that surrounded her. A small laugh came out of her, sure that today would be an interesting day.

Zel

Zel stared around at his surroundings, still in awe of being able to see so clearly the marine life he'd seen only from behind thick glass. It was much clearer and brighter than what he became accustomed to on land but grew eerily darker when you'd drift over deeper canyons. The schools of fish and bright coral would have made it almost serene if it weren't for Briar's recent discovery of his.. ability,
"Are you coming?! You're so slow!" a voice boomed in his head,
"You know, I can hear you just fine... no need to do that so much."
This whole situation was more nerve-racking than anything, I mean, he had a career, a new girlfriend, how exactly could he explain turning into some... fish, to his boss?

Briar

He laughed, much more familiar with his new body than Zel seemed to be, keeping his eyes mostly on the shallow parts of the seafloor, in search of crustaceans or plankton, but mostly finding coins and bottles stuck in the sand.

Silas

Silas swam cluelessly, not entirely sure of how to use his ability only knowing it was there. This would be a lot easier if Bailey had become a seeing-eye fish or something, he thought. "Hey, uh, anyone over here?" He asked loudly, not really expecting any answers all the way out here, but maybe he had some sort of ability to talk to fish? Maybe a salmon could help him, he chuckled at the thought. The feeling of his new scaley, slimy skin was unnerving, more so than being seemingly trapped underwater.




[Zel is the only one in this soon-to-be trio with any knowledge of marine life the extends outside of 'hehe fish'. Briar only knows about certain species and their attributes, Silas... well Silas is just moral support lol /j]

[Sorry they are all so short, especially Briars, I figure we don't need much info down just yet? I'm also in a bit of a rush at the moment.]

Aviel

Yellow and crimson shimmered in the light as she swam, leaving a small misty tint of pink in her wake. Aviel had no idea why she was dreaming of this but again, with how often she went to the beach she shoudnt be too surprise. It wasnt the first time she was lucid dreaming neather, tho she had to admit it was the most life like occurence of it yet. Usualy her mind loosed track of the narative fairly quickly so the 24 years old girl wanted to make the most of it until her brain decided to change the senary for somthing unrelated.

Sarah

She had started to swim slowly when life began to show in front of her eyes. Right now she was lying on the sand, watching from her position how the ignorant of her presence fishes passed over her, around her. So pretty, I wonder what goes through their little heads. She could even see a sylvorpa swimming in the distance, possibly looking for food. She pouted as she tilted her head, especially looking at it's fingered hands.
I miss my hands, she thought sadly, trying to move the fingers she didn't have. She was beginning to feel melancholy, but the sylvorpa attracted her attention again. She saw it move slowly, moving it's head from side to side, as if trying to catch the sounds. At first she thought it was hunting, but now it was strange. She looked around, wondering if maybe something had hurt it. It was then that she heard it.

She looked where the voice, the previously calm fishes swimming in the opposite direction quickly gave her the exact location. There was the yellow-colored sylvorpa that had seemed wounded.
Am I developing powers? Maybe I can start communicating with the marine fauna!
"Hello!" she said excitedly to a fish passing by her face. The fish squirmed in shock and was out of sight in an instant. She pouted as she looked back at the creature. Maybe not.
She got up from her place and began to swim slowly towards the sylvorpa, not having the courage to get too close, what if it bites? Then she noticed that the eyes were too dull, lacking in color. It is blind? She thought with a frown.
She began to swim around it to make sure it was indeed not hurt, and said softly "Did you speak?"

"Yes, hello!" He exclaimed, turning to hopefully face the other creature, "Finally something I can speak with, uh.." Silas thought for a moment, not entirely sure of what to ask, he hadn't thought this far ahead, only thinking if he found something he might be able to find his way out of this place.
"My name is Silas," He held his hand out in the direction he heard the voice, though his arms felt much... stubbier than they did back on land, his hand also seemed smaller, "Do fish have names? Are you a fish?"
Am I actually talking to a salmon? He wondered, giddy that at least something interesting came about from this, hehe, just wait until people back home hear about this.. they'll be so jealous.

Corruption was too caught up with itself and accidentally bumped into Zel, quickly swimming back a few inches 'I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking!'

Mike stayed behind Corrupt, making sure to not draw too much attention to himself.

She opened her eyes, freezing in place, surprised at how easily he found her. Her colors quickly changed because the shock, causing her true appearance to replace her camouflage. Could it be that his eyes can see beyond normal, like some kind of Superman? Is this the moment when I bow to his feet so he'll help me get back home?
"Um ..." she looked at the hand extended towards her, slightly to the left. Or maybe he's just blind. Her face start feeling hot from having believed something so silly and, starting with her face, began to change colors, turning pinkish red. Ugh, stop, traitor body. She thought full of shame when she noticed the change.
"I'm not a fish" she gave a little laugh, trying to shake the feeling off her. She reached out her forearm and placed it in the palm of his hand. "My name is Sarah. Nice to meet you, Silas" It seemed strange to her that a sylvorpa knew a greeting like that, and also had a human name, but she found him so friendly that she couldn't just ask him about it. I can wait, she assured herself, smiling.
