Aaron growled as she shifted in her bed. She had fallen asleep and was now being plagued by her regular nightmares. It was a tiring process every night.

Riley lets out a small breath he hadn't realized he had been holding. "So... You always sort of seem angry... Why are you angry? Who are you angry at? Is it me?" Riley hesitantly asks, before snapping his mouth shut.

"Tsk,it ain't you dummy.Ain't no way i could..be mad at you...." He mumbled,shaking his head for a moment and then smirking sharply. "Called brotherly rivalry,I want my semi-twin dead and he wants me dead." he shrugged,licking those deadly fangs.

"So it seems more than just a sibling rivalry. I don't think I have met anyone that actually wants their sibling/siblings dead. So... are you guys at a standstill in the fight since you are stuck here? Unless you teleport. Teleporting always seemed like a cool ability." Riley notes. "It would be nice to have now... unless this prison somehow has a teleporting sheild around it so we can't teleport out. That would be a bummer."

Shade laughed a quiet but deadly sharp sound. "Teleportation,something that many humans find interesting.I use portals,same as my dear brother Jason,but they will not work unless I know where I'm going and know what it looks somewhat like.I can't go to far a distance,but I can over realms." His voice sharp and seemed to be trying to shed a warning. He flicked his free hand out and black tendrils slithered around his wrist and reached out like deadly claws.It sliced open an example of a small portal,a black rim around deep lavender and silver depts. He seemed to struggle to keep it open. "Usually larger." He muttered,then it flickered out as his hand dropped and the tendrils shivered and retreated.

Riley watches the portal come and go. "Oh. My. Galoshes. I haven't seen a portal before. That was an actual portal? That's awesome. I wish I could have that ability. Unless it's not a good ability and there are drawbacks, but then again, everything has a consequence. I should be quiet now." Riley says in a mad rush.

Shade pats his head again,trying to be more gentle but it hardly worked. " Ya' don't need'a be quiet.Don't let any one tell you to be quiet,you have a right for words." He said,but he once again seemed angry. "And yes,it has drawbacks.It takes a lot out of my soul."

"Y-you mean... Wait, portals take away from your soul? So, like, when your soul runs out no more portals? Does your soul ever run out? Does it refuel or is it just a once in a-" Riley backs away from the questions. "I mean, um... Cool, but not cool."

Shade seemed barely bothered with answering questions.Barely. "They tire it out.If I work it to much,it either cracks,I die or I pass out for maybe a day or two." He seemed full on back to being angry,voice sharp and gruff but...the faintest hint of trying to be kind in it.

Riley nods slowly. That seems harsh... He thinks to himself, becoming quiet as possible because Shade seemed to be getting angrier. He didn't want to anger the dragon boy, and he didn't want to become one more to the masses Shade said he had killed.
