Riley begins to lean to Shade, almost resting on him as Riley begins to nod off, before bolting straight again wide awake, mentally kicking himself. He nervously waited for Shade to lash out or something or anything. They were strangers after all. Riley knew he had crossed a line,, and he waited for punishment.

Shade just gave a side glare,but not a real harsh one but then he rolled his eyes. But them he put out and arm for Riley,as if to say 'just do it already.' His expression was blank though,eyes averted.

Riley silently thanks Shade, scooting himself closer to Shade, and resting on the dragon child. Riley was glad Shade hadn't hurt him, but Riley didn't know how he felt about that. Stop getting in the way, emotions.

The dragon boy lets him and puts an arm around him along with his wing. "Just need ta' ask." He mumbled,,not to anyone particular. He still seemed angry though,his black markings pulsing a strange glow but...the glow was a bit warm,temperature wise.

Riley found himself nodding off, feeling comfortable and warm and calm. Riley wish he could help calm the dragon child down as well, he seemed angry at something all the time. "Thank you." Riley remembers his manners. Riley tried to remember why Shade was angry and what he was angry at, racking his brain as he tries to remember if Shade ever said anything about that earlier.

Shade hadn't said out loud anything about the cause of his anger,just mumbled about it. "...Guess I gatta say,no...p...problem." He said,seeming awkward with his own manners,surprising he had any. He hummed again,a soft and calm tune,swaying as if like wind through tree's and brighter than he himself like a bubbly stream.

Riley smiles, liking Shade more. Noooo, no, you are not thinking like that. Riley thinks to himself. He mentally kicks himself again, flinching slightly.

Shade sighed and seemed to wince as he noticed Riley flinch. He mumbled a sorry,as if,through his anger,he'd done something wrong.But his expression and everything gave no sign of guilt or even that he would cause Riley any harm.

"N-not your-r fault." Riley mumbles upon hearing the sorry. He hadn't meant to make Shade feel like he had done something wrong... Except Shade didn't act or look as if he felt guilty... So maybe it was just an instinctive sorry like what Riley did sometimes.

It really wasn't,he didn't do manners and if so not often. He kept humming,closing those red eyes as for once his expression softened a moment and his eyes opened and where gold rather than the ruby red,but then they blinked and where red again.His expression turned harsh once again and his eyes no longer the soft gold color. "This place sucks.Don't ya' think?" he said,tone rude but the words not.
