Gully looked at Tribe like he had 3 heads.

' This place is amazing.. you say. With monsters and other things killing and ripping out hearts...killing the mother of one of your own....while you batlle for survival in a forrest that does freaky things....'

'Just so we're clear, you know your nuts right?' Gully asked in a slighty teasing but in a friendly voice.

''So not all zolnixi live together then. And these guardians who are they? Does your entire clan want to stay here? If so ... why? And how can I find the other zolnixi's. I wish to talk to all of them, maybe see if there are any faces I know. There have been zolnixi gone missing from our city. And I want to find all zolnixi that wish to leave this place so we can help eachother and return to our homes, friends and family.''





(I thought no zolnixi would know the way out at this point. That is kinda the purpose from my reasque party after all. They have to find the way out. Because of this I will not let Gully ask that if they know the way out why they refuse to help those that do want to go home.)

Meanwhile in the city the King had called his most trusted and loyal warrior. BlackDevil or Black, as he prefered to be called. Black had faught many battles to protect the city form evil and dark creatures. He was a seasond warrior and would not be defeated that quickly. Besides his strength he also had a big heart. The King trusted him with his life and he trusted his intire kingdom to him as well.

Black walked into the King's hall. The King turned to Black Immediately.

'Black my old friend, I wil get to the point right away. I asume you have heard of the zolnixi dissapearing. All Zolnixi that dissapeared either went to the forest or where close to it, like our most recent missing Gully.'

Black nodded. He had heard alright, Gully's poor mother was inconsolable.

'I have decided to do what my father and grandfather did not. To face that forrest instead of turning a blind eye. Our kingdom has faced all and any threads head on. Why should this forest be any different. The forrest has taken to many of our people, and as their king I can not abandon them because the old lords always told us they where lost forever. That we should leave that forest alone. Though I understand their concern, an enemie is an enemie and should be faced, and how much of a king would I be if I where to abandon my subjects because of fear. '

'If there is even a small chance they are alive it is enough to take the risk. Because of this I have decided to form a rescue and research party to go into the forest and I have chosen you to be it's leader.'

'I know that there is a chance you and your party might become lost to us as well. But I also know that if there is anyone that can pull this mission off it's you. You are a dear friend to me and would wish for you to remain at my side. However for the sake of the kingdom and all it's zolnixi's I have decided you are more needed there. That is why I will offer you a choice. You do not have to go if you do not wish it. I will not force anyone into that forest.'

Black just grinned. 'Your grace, yous should know like no other, I have no intention of sitting back and doing nothing while that forest takes our loved ones. I will accept this mission. I always wanted to give that forest a piece of my mind anyway.'

The king looked relieved, though a bit sad for having to miss his friend.

'Then let me explain your mission. You and your party will go into the forest and search for zolnixi's. You will have to find out how the forest traps them, and why. Find out how to bring the zolnixi's back to safety, and find out how to prevent the forest from ever taking anyone again. And if you can, find out what it's weakness is, and if the forest was always like that and if possible how to destroy it or turn it back to a normal forest. Find out what makes dark creatures go there, when the fields and hills surrounding that forrest are so peacefull. Please tell me again what your mission is Black.'

Black bowed. 'Yes my king, we will find and return any zolnixi that wishes to leave, we will find the way out and how to prevent others from going in. We will find out if the forest can be destroyed or turned back to a normal forest and we will find out what or who else lives there and what the forest turned so dark that it would trap zolnixi's and attracks monsters and other creatures of the dark.'

The king nodded.

Black looked up again. 'My king, who will my party be?'

The king smiled. I thought Hard and long about who to send with you and came up with this, Black you will travel with the zolnixi's you chose.'

Black looked confused. 'Your grace?'

The king explained. 'You would know even better then me who would be fit to go on such a mission, you know the strengths and weaknesses of every zolnixi in the city. Make your team with zolnixi you trust and who's skills will be helpfull. I know you will find them, comerades with the right skills and a willing heart. Now go form your party, in this case there will be no restrictions. You can take whomever you want and how many. You need not ask permission. I will only request you take WhiteTenshi with you. He is young but one of the strongest zolnixi we have. He would be honerd to assit you in this quest and I believe your leadership will be good for him.'

Black bowed again. 'I will ask him then your grace.' And then Black turned around and walked out to go form his party. He turned his head around one last time. 'Do not worry Sylestian, I will not fail, I will return to your side. I promised I would always return to your side, and I intend to keep that promise my friend.'

The king, named Sylestian smiled. Black always knew what to say, he would be missed while he was gone.
'I know my friend, I know.'

And Black was out of the kings hall.

Sylestian looked out trough the window. Blacks team would succeed. He had to believe in that. For his people, and all the zolnixi's who might still be alive.


(Waaa sorry for the super long post.... but I had to get this out of the way before I could form the rescue and research party.)

Undergrowth tugged at the Zolnixi's tail and says at the same time "Well den ya need to turn around!" after speaking and tugging Undergrowth ran into a thick clump of undergrowth.

*One of my Zolnxies could show them out, Tribe maybe because he might feel sorry for Gully and he might get attached to her*

Tribe narrowed his eyes and pretends to be angry at her when she called him nuts but can't help but smile. "The guardians have statues dotted around the place, they all look diffrent, the statue we where by was Tarloon, the guardian that helps guard the ancient trees that started this forest. there is another clan here, and they are a right pain, they always demand and threats us to show them the way out, they don't care what might happen to us if we do! Did they ever care about us? The ones who could get wiped out from helping them?" Tribe pushed through some very thick undergrowth and slips through a gap that is just big enough for him.

Terra and Tanner were giggling and playing near the river. The two small zolnixies had managed to survive since hatching from their abandoned eggs, though they didn't know that their mother had been brutally ripped apart by one of the many monsters around. Every time that they had found themselves face to face with a vorkid or something along those lines, they had always managed to get away unscathed by just simply being mischievous. Fate had always worked in their favor; on their last account with a beast, they were simply throwing pebbles at it and a boulder above it fell and crushed it.
Tanner nipped at his sibling's ankles with a smirk before swinging behind a tree and jumping under a root. Terra smiled and chased him, not seeing his little hiding place. After jumping over the root he was under, she stopped at the side of a little miniature cliff that led to the water below. "Broder....?" She looked around, oblivious of his sneaking up behind her. He pounced, knocking her off the ground and into the icy river. She yelped, trying to swim against the growing current. His eyes widened. "Terra!"

Nao sighed, looking up at the cloudy blue sky. There were not many spots where the trees allowed enough of a gap to see the sky in this forest, but Nao knew almost all of them. Sometimes he just lay there all day, longing to see the blue sky over a red field of poppies like where he used to live. The last time he had seen a poppy was almost three months ago now, he had been counting the moons.

Neon looked around the forest sighing slightly, she swore she saw Nao again...she was growing to like him since she recued him from the river, she shuddered as she remembered the scene that was there when she found him on the side of the river, blood pouring from his head and lumps she was hoping back then where not brain nor skull, but later they turned out of be flowers so that relieved her alot.

She pushed through some undergrowth and saw Nao looking up at the sky, she was behind him so she decided to make him jump a little. She lowered her belly to the floor and started to creep up on him then pounced onto his back laughing.

Nao's ears twitched in her direction as Neon neared, but his eyes remained fixed on the sky. He was waiting for her to pounce before he'd announce that he'd heard her. As soon as she leapt, however, he flipped over on his belly, averting her attack. As soon as he could scramble back up, he pounced atop her, quickly trying to pin her down with his paws. As soon as he did pin her to the ground, his pink eyes sparkled madly and there was a light smirk upon his lips. The breeze picked up a little, and the little ray of sun he was in illuminated his dark fur.
He looked so out of place in front of the green grass around him. His black and white fur stood out even more from her point of view because of the light blue sky.
"Gotcha." He smiled, hopping gently off of her. "Perhaps next time...?" He had always been quite fond of Neon, for she was the first face he'd ever remembered since the...accident....
"What's up?" He asked nonchalantly, taking a quick glance back up to the sky before his eyes returned to her.

"Hel-" The little drowning nixie was interrupted as a wave threw itself over her. "Tanner!" She screeched, giving him a very worried look as he seemed to be getting farther and farther away.
Terra...this is my fault... Tanner bit his lip. As the distance between the twins increased, darker and more evil thoughts started entering his mind. This was her fault though, and I shouldn't drown over it...Right? Of course I am right....She should have been more careful! He shook his head, trying to clear out the negative thoughts.
This always happened when they were separated. Horrible things started to happen.
Before she could get any farther, he gulped, jumping in himself. Wrong choice... He hadn't thought the current would be so strong.

"Hey!" Renee shouted as one of her tails was pulled. Not wanting to lose the other female, she quickly rushed after her.
