Kaz took out two small potions and placed them in front of Fern. "On the house, mate. Consider it a proper thanks for yesterday."

Glitch whispered something to her brother, followed by him giving her a small nod. She grinned widely and started rummaging through the crowded shelves, bringing out a small jar full of candies.

"A nice Bulbori lady traded us these for some elixirs this morning. Can you give them to Pine for me?" she asked.

Fern looked surprised at the free potions. 'Thanks.'

He smiled at the candies. 'I'll be sure to give them to him, he will be very happy, Pine has a sweet tooth after all. '

He looked back at Kaz. 'My dad would apriciate it if you would come to the town meeting. They decided to hold one after finding out a vorkid was able to sneak into the forest. The meeting is at the old oak. It's close to where you live right now. If you want you can drop Glitch of at our place, mom would not mind looking over her as well.'

Fern recalled teh converstaion he and his dad had that morning, Black was worried about the vorkid and asked all his older friends to discuss it. He was planning on asking Kaz himself, but now that Fern was talking to him anyway he might as well ask instead.

Kaz nodded, "Sure, I'll be there." He said, "It might get the shop a bit more noticed, too."

"The only other customer we had today is the Bulbori lady." Glitch added. "No one knows we're here yet."

Fern looked at Glitch. 'I see, well I'm sure the meeting could help with that. You could also make a poster or something.'

"Okay!" Glitch grinned. "Maybe Pine can help me."

"So how long until this meeting starts?" Kaz asked.

'I am sure Pine would love to help you.'
He turned back to Kaz, not hostile nut not friendly either, not having forgotten how Kaz acted yesterday.

'The meeting will be held tonight at twilight. So when the forrest turnes orange drop by.'

'I better go bring this to Pine now, time to fix his paw.'

Fern smiled gently at Glitch and waved at her, he politly nodded to Kaz but again not friendly or hostile, just there.

Later that day Kaz took Glitch to Pine's house, supplied with plenty of paint and paper to make posters, then headed to the old oak for the meeting.

He nodded a greeting to some of the Sylesties and took his place in the crowd.

Black and Fern where there already as well. Black being the sylstie that got everyone there in the first place of course had to be there first. His son was talking to another sylestie in the corner.

Black saw Kaz entering. Good the lad came.

He walked over to Kaz.

'Hey there lad, good to see you here.'

"Hey, Black."
Kaz greeted the older Zolnixi.

"You guys really seem worried about how that Vorkid got in. I'm guessing you must have some pretty good defences, right?"

'We do, for a simple village in a forest that is. But this forest used to be a dangerous place, we where able to make it safe and now it is even peacefull. We put a lt of safety messures around the forrest. There is no way that vorkid could have entered on his own.'

Black looked like he was thinking about something.
'There is one vorkid who lives here, who is allowed to live here. An annoying fella, talks a bit funny, but never harms anyone. That vorkid only ever tries to make deals and get nice stuff. It crossed my mind that maybe that vorkid let the other one in. But that would not make much sense either. You see our vorkid was chased away by other vorkids, who mocked it for not hunting sylesties. So why would our vorkid help those who mocked it? So that means that new one got help from somebody here, or maybe a clever sylestie outside.'

'And that worries me, why would anybody send a dangerous vorkid into a peacefull village?'

'Oh look at me, spilling my thoughts on the new guy, ha sorry about that. I better go start the meeting, it seems everybody is here.'
