"Mind if I go east to check? It's a bit farther to the clan border but it's a good place to start." She asked Smokestar after Icepaw had left.

"Good Idea."Smokestar agreed.

"Thanks." She said as she set off through the trees and then started to blend in.

She was quickly jumping from tree to tree and occasionally running on the ground to go faster but not for very long. After maybe an hour she took a break and thought, Hmm the eastern border is still maybe 2 miles away so that might take longer because as I get closer I should probably hide myself more just incase.

Icepaw looked at her paw."Fox dung!Why didn't they just break my paw off."

Poppyleaf left the camp after she had assigned all of the patrols. She sighed; then wondered if Willowstar had such a hard time when he was deputy. Glancing up at the sky, she sent a silent prayer for Starclan to keep her clan safe for the journey. With a lash of her tail, Poppyleaf clawed up into a tree and leaped from branch to branch silently through the forest. She paused at the sound of a bird call.
"..Birds?" she muttered under her breath, then purred in amusement to herself. "Surprising the twolegs haven't scared them away yet."
She looked down from the branch she stood on, and saw a thrush digging through leaves. Poppyleaf unsheathed her claws, then pounced from the branch onto the small bird, biting it's neck. She picked up the fresh-kill and clawed back up the tree, leaping from branch to branch back to camp.

Obsidian hid in the cover of the leaves. No one noticed that he was gone, and that was the way he liked it. He peaked out of the bushes in time to see Smokestar being held by the 2-legged, and he tensed, deciding whether or not he can take care of the huge 2-legged creature.

When Smokestar managed to escape from the 2-legged, he mentally sighed in relief while he remained cold and emotionless on the inside. As much as he really doesn't care whether she dies or not, Thunderclan will crumble if Smokestar isn't there, and her apprentice is nowhere near ready. He silently blended with the shadows once again, and decided he should head back into the clan area before anything forces him to take action again. He hated taking responsibility, so he tries to avoid it at all costs.

Above him, an eagle circles around, it's eyes scanning the once abundant forest floor for his next evening meal.

While running, he spotted a group of 2-legged huddling in a patch of dirt. He quickly changed course and headed east instead, not wanting to confront them at all.

When he turned the bend, he smelt Shad's scent, and his eyes widened. Quickly, he cut his course and headed straight for Shad. As he got closer, he spotted Shad resting behind a tree.

"Shad! What are you doing here?! The 2-legged are-"

Obsidian didn't have time to finish his sentence, as a group of snarling hounds bursted out of the bushes.

(Guys, smokestar didn't get hurt Icepaw did.)

Icepaw and smokestar heard the snarls of dogs right where shad had gone.They ran throgh the tree tops, Icepaw ahead of Smokestar.She jumped onto and branch and kept going.
Then she saw the dogs and stopped just with in ear shot of shad and obsidian.

"Climb only a tail lenght higher.Theres a hawk," Icepaw yowled loudly.

"Obsidian" She hissed quietly, "I'm going to the eastern border. You have to be quite now though because of those stupid dogs." She hissed at him and then asked, "Why are you here? I thought you had gone a different way."

Poppyleaf's ears twitched at the sound of dogs. She turned and clawed up a tree and leaped from branch to branch to the source of the sound. She stood on a branch looking down at the dogs and her ears twitched.
