She doesnt respond, pretending she doesnt hear him. Its the malingering she had mentioned earlier- people dont usually talk smack to somebody theyre pretty sure is deaf.

She sits there calmly, not reacting. Though the guy was being annoying, she knows he will likely lose interest if she seems unbothered. Besides, shes not in the mood to fight with someone.
