Thank you to everyone who participated in the Solar Eclipse Event! The highest I saw in the zone was 248 players! That shattered whatever the old record was (~140? maybe).
There will be many more of these events. However, due to the technical difficulties of this first one, I will be having 2 more "special" ones running tomorrow:
9/3 @ 12pm
9/3 @ 4pm
The "special" ones last longer and have higher frequencies of Themed.
Just so everyone is aware, the logout issue was a global issue affecting every single player. I believe I know what the issue is and will get it fixed for tomorrow.
I apologize for any inconvenience, however this was partially meant to be a stress test so this is exactly why it was done this way.

I was gone all day but I got back literally one minute too late to do the solar eclipse... :(( sad.

Ummm.... Where do you find the catalysts? Are they in a certain type of chest or something? I've been looking for HOURS and haven't found one...

Participated in the Solar Eclipse event and was really pleased with it! Yes, there were many log-outs. But it bothered me much less knowing that others were having the same issue. Also, the fact that the event is almost like... rare pets being thrown at your face, makes it such a fun rush.
I feel like this was a very successful thing; even if these pets become more commonplace, (like Tyrielle or Zombie pets), I really like how this event worked. I would hope, maybe even, the Tyrielle / zombie event could be retired or changed to work like this event: a scheduled, helter-skelter of grab-it-like-it's-hot pet frenzy. But maybe this is something you guys want to keep special to Summer fest. I dunno, I just know it is *thumbs up* really awesome.
Thanks for this event!
Totally considering canceling my plans tomorrow to make the first Eclipse event >.> I am a bit under the weather, after all...

on sand sculpting can you use more than one pearl on a sculpture/pet? like if you have a golden and a mundane pearl can you use both on the same sculpture?
