Bum was shaking from the thought of having to go(real life also). He may not have worked to get here, but he was worthy. "I am ready." Bum walked up to the 2 warriors. He bowed his head once more looking down at the blue/black grass.'What if I don't get it right...?''I can't go back, what will I do once I'm back out without the help of Neko..?'

"Yes." Bum sounded more confident than ever before. 'I CAN'T go back...' 'If I go back, I might not survive', the only thing that kept Bum going was the thought that he was something.

Galaxis

Riddle: With pointed fangs I sit and wait; with piercing force I crunch out fate; grabbing victims, proclaiming might; physically joining with a single bite. What am I?

'Wait what!' Bum wanted to scream. What did that mean...?'Ok, So, it must not be alive. Only one bite to join together..' 'So.. Sit and wait, crunch out fate.. Grabbing victims..' "Hmm.." "Can I ask, do you know if I have seen one before?.."

"Indeed you have. Time is running out.. what is your answer, Bum?" The Guardian stepped forward, paws stopping only a few feet away from him, her glistening, star-like eye's watching him closely..

"A-A stapler?." Bum said uncertain. 'This can't be wrong, they are not alive, and they join things together.'

Galaxis and Apraxis


"Indeed young Sylvorpa, that is correct." The two mates looked to one another then across to Neko.
"You must now take him, and bring to us the Gem of Mirina. Once the Sylvorpa returns to us with the Relic, he is free to pass."


Neko looked over at the Guardians in wonder, "How can I follow him and be here too?" He tilted his head, confusion in his eyes.

Apraxis laughed, "You know the powers of Ryori, how we can become almost like air. Unseen yet all around us. Galaxis will create a Doppler, a double of you, much smaller in version and only visible too our young Sylvorpa here." He smiled looking to Bum.
Galaxis stepped up and announced his task.


"Mirina (pronounced mer-ee-na) is to the South of this portal, where the forest grows thick and the darkness offers many dangers. Upon a face of stone, you shall find the Gem, it's colours match those of your own, Bum. Bring me this Relic, and you will pass without fear."

Mud listened to Bum answer his riddle as he pondered his own. He was glad that Neko would still be with them, he had grown worried when the guardians had said that he would be going with Bum.
Mud looked all around himself thinking thinking thinking ....He looked at the members of his group, knowing he had to do this by himself and knowing he knew this riddle. He hummed the riddle to himself wondering how much time he had to answer this question.. This is a thing that is devoured by all things; flowers, trees, beasts, birds; bites steel, gnaws iron; grinds hard stone to meal; beats mountain down, ruins town and slays king. What is it?

Humming it, he looked at the guardian then stopped. He said in a quiet voice "The answer is time." He felt very certain this was the answer, if not then it was the guardian's fault for giving him a riddle with 2 answers. He looked the Nebula and the rest of his group. Then he resumed humming the riddle, he liked the tune he had found for it.
