Glitch growled and ran after Pine, headbutting him. "You idiot, I came all this way to help you and I'm not going back now! You know nothing about travelling and you're going to need the company of someone who does." she said angrily.

"Besides, my brother taught me how to cheat at these games."

Aria wasn't quite sure what everyone said, but she had an idea. Rather confused, she silently spread her wings and soared up, above the Sylesties. An idea crossed her mind. Maybe I can help them! she thought excitedly. She turned her gaze back down to the Sylesties once more.

What the red and gray Zolnixi said caught her ears. "Cheat!? Look, buddy, I can help you some if you tell me how to do this. Oh, also, I guarantee I know more about journeys and battling, so shut your yap if you don't know what you're talking about, and I guarantee you don't. So shut it, kid." She said with an edgy tone but kind enough to convince.

Glitch turned to Red with a quizzical look on her face. This woman had offered them help in the form of an insult and she wasn't quite sure how to react. It was Pine's journey so it was up to him who came with them and who didn't, other than her, of course.

Glitch would help him whether he wanted her to or not.

She didn't mind sharing her gaming secrets though. "It's different for each game but you do often need more than one Syletsi to do it. I'll show you how when we get there."

Feiht had stopped again, only because Pine had,who was recovering from the headbut.

'Ow! Glitch!'

Pine rubbed the place Glitch headbutted with his paw.

After he recoverd he looked at the 3 girls and signed.

'Ok, fine tag along. I have a feeling you girls would do so anyway. '

Then he turned to the tough girl. A slighly angry look on his face. 'One rule though, don't you ever say again that my parents might be dead. I don't care how truw you think it is. Sinds the moment I left Sylesties and Vorkids have been telling me how hopeless this quest is and quite frankly I am tired of hearing it. You follow me or come with me? At least keep comments like that to yourself.'

Feiht looked up. 'Hee! There is nothing wrong with that nickname kid. Makes you able to adress all 3 in one go. A lot faster than bothering with names.'

Pine ignored him. 'I'm Pine.'

Gold. So that's what that is, she said as she thought about the small pouch of shiny coins she found by her nest. Her nest was only a few trees away, she might as well go get the pouch now.

Going back to her gliding state she quickly dove into the crowd of trees and to her small nest. She grabbed the pouch then flew as fast as she could back to the clearing.

I wonder why they're looking for these, she thought once more. But she was so deep in thought that she dropped the pouch - right above the group of Sylesties. She gasped as it fell downward towards them. She figured they'd find use for it, though.. So long as it didn't land on someone's head. She hovered high above the Sylesties, watching to see what would happen.

"Ok, fine, and my name is Dragon Fire. But just call me Red, 'cuz it can get long otherwise. Oh, and don't think for a min- OWW! What the...!?" She said with a startled tone. A bag of coins had fallen on her head! She looked up and saw a pinkish Aurleon flying above them. "Thanks, bird!" She turned her attention back to the group. "Well, The weight that fell on my head felt like a million coins, but let's check..." She counted the coins and announced to number to the others. "Well, I may have counted wrong, but I think there are 500 coins!"

Aria giggled. "My pleasure!" She shouted down. Let them keep it, she told herself. They might need it. With that, Aria gained more height and soared onwards toward the town ahead.

Aria screeched with horror as she was picked up in mid-running by a human in a white outfit and a tall white hat that looked like a marshmallow. He chuckled to himself, said something about 'being a perfect choice' and when nobody was looking stuffed Aria into his knapsack.

What a nice bird, maybe I should thank her, maybe she'll help us from above! she thought to herself. Then she heard the cry.

A cry for help.
A cry of terror.
She remembered that all too well.
She charged to the source of the sound, ready to help, but all she saw was a human in white.
Wait, did his knapsack just move?
She could hear the cries of an Aurleon coming from inside.
She shot a fireball at the human. It hit square on.
