Backstory (optional): Coreath was an only child who was spoiled to bits and never even tried to help anyone. The family saw him so unsuited they found a distant cousin to take the throne, but he was strangely found dead the night before the ceremony of crowning. So they had no choice but to crown Coreath.

Well, what I had in mind was something like a druid in DnD. They have regular spells, but they can also shapeshift. A character like this could certainly help refugees along.

Backstory:
Daren was born in Rewolf to a loving father, though his mother had died in childbirth. His mother had been a healer, and a very powerful one, while his father's magic had been shapeshifting. He was raised by his father, who had an incurable malady. I time, his father would pass, and Darius moved out of the city entirely, content to live in the woods. Then he found out about the persecution happening, and decided to do something about to. So he travelled into St'Nemunom in the guise of a small black cat to seek out and rescue the refugees. His family crest is a white Lily crossed with a slim, curved dagger.
