"Oww shad!"Obsidian said, grooming some of his fur back into place.

"What was that for? I was going to take a perfectly good nap." He said, his eyes twitching from side to side.

((Aww, I feel so sorry for obsidian Thought Smokestar was a bit harsh on him, but he isn't a very pleasant cat to begin with I guess XD))

((And if you guys hate obsidian right now, he'll be more nicer in the future hopefully ^3^ he's still traumatised by a bad childhood though ))

Shad let go of Obsidianpaws fur. "I just want some help hunting some more food and to talk to you a little bit. You are one of the few cats here around my age yes?"

Obsidian stretched his body, stretching his muscles and yawning.

"Yeah. Anyway, I heard hunting" He said, starting to feel excited about the hunt. Catching pray was his favourite part of the day. He loved the thrill of the hunt.

"Comeon!!! Let's go!" He shouted eagerly, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"What is going on?" Frostpaw felt like she had slept for a week.

"Yes! Hunting in groups is awesome! So much better than being by yourself! Race you to the river clearing!" She called to Obsidianpaw already running off.

Obsidian ran close to Shad, not wanting to lag behind. They both reached a small clearing next to river, and the afternoon whether provided lots of shades.

A perfect hunting spot.

Obsidian waited, crouched behind some tall grass, as he spotted a brown field mice. He pushed his body towards the floor, and his flickering from side to side occasionally, studying his pray.

Suddenly, a small breeze blew behind him, and the mouse caught his scent. It quickly darted out of the grass, alarmed by Obsidian.

"Hey. Come back here!" He said as he abandoned his grassy hideout and chased after the mice. It darted form side to side, almost shaking off Obsidian. He pawed the ground many times in attempt to catch it, but failed every time. suddenly, he slipped on a wet patch of land, and he landed into the river with an "Ouf!"

He came out of the river with some seaweed on his head, looking annoyed, and saw Shad...

Smokestar walked evenly across the ground her head held hi, though she was stil slightly angry about the apprenetice."Icepaw."Her voice rings out.

IcePaw comes shooting and stop in front of her."Yes smoke?"

"Your first day of battle training."She leads off into the woods.

Somkestar shows her a veiw simple moves.
First she showed a classic pin.

IcePaw added a little twist by darting behind smoke and knocking her aws away then penning her.All this went by silently with know gloating or jeers.IcePaw was completely focused and smokestar did not need to speak to give commands.But then a scent wafte through the air that caught both of theres attention.It was a dog pack.Smokestar gave the signal ad they both flew up a tree.Icepaw travaled through the trees as shewas trained back to the camp.Sometimes taking great risk by jumping huge gaps in the trees destroyed by 2-legs.As she reached the camp she gave the warning.

"Dogs, on thunder clan terrotory and there close.It's a whole pack to big for us to fight.Smokestar said to take cover in the trees."
She looks at her clanmates as they stared up at her.And she couldn't help but think, this is how it should be.Her as leader not apprentice.When the clans left she would become a warrior and pray that starclan deem her worthy as deputy and someday leader.

Shad was waiting in bushes and she saw a small mouse. She kept her nose and whiskers to the wind cautious of changes and soon was ready to pounce. She had seen Obsidianpaw race after a different mouse so she wasn't worried. She just focused.

Icepaw looked around and them went back to where smokestar was and reported back to her.
"But obsidian and shad, dont no about the dogs."
"Find them and tell them then."she replied.

Ice was off, leaping from tree to tree.She spotted them and called out.

"There dogs in the terrotory Smokestar orders everyone to take cover in the trees."
