I grew up with Legend of Zelda and I love al-.....well not all because all know that LoZ 2 and the CDI ones are bad.

I like the 2d storylines, but the graphics.... No.

I'm not real big on graphics. Gameplay is what matters to me for the most part.
A game can have the most beautiful graphics in the world, but if the gameplay and controls aren't good, then who cares.
That's not to say I don't appreciate lovely graphics. But I don't think having good graphics automatically makes something a good game. And the opposite. Bad graphics don't necessarily make a bad game.
I don't think the 2D Zeldas are all that bad graphics wise. The first 2 are a little primitive looking, but ALTTP and the Four Swords games have some of the best, most optimized graphics you can get on 2D. Those are some very nice looking games graphically speaking.

I mean't Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link (LoZ2) even Shigeru Miyamoto believes it's a failure.

1. I'm not a hater, it's not nice to assume that. 2. Shiguru believes Adventure of Link was a failure hence why that route for the game was quickly abandoned, also the CDI games almost ruined the Legend of Zelda series.
