That incomplete sci fi trilogy I mentioned. It's by Brandon Sanderson. The two books are Skyward and Starsight. Pretty good series about a girl in an opressed society who wants to become a pilot but needs to over come the fact that her father was deemed a coward to be allowed to fly in battles to free humans from the planet they're trapped on.

It sounds intresting. I've recently read the Black Stallion and Flame which is by Walter Farley. It's about two stallions one of whome is a race horse and the other is a stallion on an unknown island paradise. They are evenly matched all the while being hunted by a rabid vampire bat. While doing this the Black Stallion's rider Alec Ramsey and trainer Henry Daley are trying to find the Black Stallion after their plane went down and trying to stop the vampire bat. Though have you ever read Zodiac by Romina Russell? It's about a girl who is fighting for her home planet while trying to defend all of the planets but she does not understand what she is defending them from. She is questioned at every turn and is judged by all but those who she cares about. It takes place on the planets of the zodiac.

They're intresting but a little intense for second book. Aside from Hamelton have you seen any good movies?
