Shade stopped at the roots of an old oak tree, but jake and Dmitri fanned out, scanning the area in animal form. Shade shifted and seemed to rip a root right out of the ground, but it turned out to be a door. She jumped down, returning the root to its normal position. It was like no one has even glanced at it.

Shade walked through the darkness effortlessly, used to it by now. Her hand grasped a lantern and it flared on when it came into contact with her skin. She swung it around bringing light to the room. The sound of the pitter pattering of feet scurrying around echoed along the hall way. Rats. "Ugh." Shade grunted, making a face. She walked down the long walkway, seemingly made out of roots, and stopped when she reached a small chest. She knelt in front of it and pulled a key from around her neck. It slid into the lock easily and the Lid flipped open. Shades mouth turned in a mischevious smile. "Oh yeah!"

Shane easily made it through the tunnel due to it being made out of plants and looked at Shade as she opened the box. Shane "Whats that?".

Shade snapped up and glared at him. "OH THAT IS IT!" She sprinted forward in a blur and dragged him, by the collar, up the tunnel and into the open forest. She ruthlessly chucked h down on the floor and snarled. "AND STAY OUT! THIS DOESNT CONCERN YOU, SO DONT GET INVOLVED!" She turned and returned down the tunnel back to the chest, heaving out a wallet full of I.D's, a bunch of keys and a pure silver locket. "To anyone else, just a bunch of junk..." She murmured as she slowly returned down the corridor.

Shane "Owwwwwwwwwwww.........". Shane landed on a tree branch a good distance away and decided to just stay where he was for a while and not move. Shane "That hurt, Shade has a better arm than I thought" he said rubbing the back of his head.

Shade walked out just as Shane said his last sentence. She softened as memories passed through her head. "Too right! I was the champion at sports that involved swinging bats and using your arms at school!" She laughed as Dmitri muttered under his breath as he walked over. "Yeah I know. You never shut up about it." Shade smirked at him. "What? Just because you were sh!t at sport doesn't mean you have to spoil my fin all the time!" He gave her one of those looks. She just smirked and went over to help Shane up, by offering her hand. She immediately became serious. "This doesn't mean we're friends and you can tag along kid, i'm just helping you up." She warned.

Shane "So you actually did have an education, never knew". Shane grabbed her hand and stood up. Shane "anyway do you really think your going to lose me that easily no one else in the group is here so i'm watching you three, you know how well you attract trouble". Shane leaned on the tree he got thrown into a moment ago and waited to find out what they had planned next.

"If that was sarcasm I would never have known." Shade's voice could've cut glass. She held his hash before sighing and inspecting the wallet from the chest. "You expect us to just tell you our plans out right? Pfft. You've watched too many movies. In the real world, people don't actually do that." She indicated to Dmitri and her brother that they should get going.
