Po-Fla sighed and kicked the letter away. Stupid sylesties from the other tribes, she thought. Po-Fla streached and walked to the main meeting area. Almost the whole tribe had been gathered and Po-Fla walked up to the pedastool where she talked from. The pedastool was decorated with serpent heads, dyed with purple poison. Behind it was a waterfall which the water was purple, a waterfall of poison.

As Destullan came to a clearing, he stood up on his back legs, raising his head into the air. His neck rippled as he sniffed the air. He had been patrol-stalking for hours, and he hadn't seen so much as a mouse. (He had probably sent all the wildlife scattering for a mile radius.) With a grunt, he sat back on his haunches and lashed his tail in consternation, much like a cat. He probably needed to head back to the village and get something to eat. Fuel up for the next round of duty. He gave his long body a great shake and stretched out his wings. He gave them an experimental flap before backing up and getting a running start. It was not a large clearing, but he was just barely able to clear the trees as he climbed into the air.

He was a particularly heavy Ny'vene, with bones practically made of stone. Flying, for him, was not the easiest of tasks, but it was fairly rewarding. When he was underground, he could not see, he could only sense. From up here, he at least could survey the territory. He weaved back and forth some, through the air, taking an aerial glance at the Ground Territory before eventually bee-lining it back to the village. The Ground Tribe's stonecraft really was the best, and natural caves and rock formations jutting out of the scrublands in the heart of their territory formed beautiful homes. Destullan landed right near the edge of town in a cloud of dust, before walking in, wings pinned close to his sides. He made for the apple orchard, craving something crunchy and sweet before he headed out to make a quick hunt.

At the entrance to the orchard, he stopped and bellowed. "Cry!" he called. "Cry, are you present!?"

She scratched her chest and tilited her head at him. Waiting for a awnser.

"I will never understand your... unique greetings, Cry," Destullan said stiffly. "But yes, I came here for an apple or two. But also, I came to talk. Our Tribe is weak, Cry. Perhaps weaker than most, it is hard to say. For the most part, the other tribes have left us out of their bickering and trickery, and Darks rarely tread here but..." Unconsciously, he unfurls and retracts his wings in discomfort. "But they may be luring us into a false sense of security. We cannot appear weak, but I hesitate to send others out to patrol the borders. I have some ideas, but... what say you?"

Cry looked confused at Desty. " What say I what? " she said. " Also follow me, I got a good crop just now! " She grabbed Desty's arm and dragged him along to where their was buckets full of apples, she let go of him and picked up two of the biggest and shinest apples. " 'ere " she said, offering them to him.

Aktorca went into the multi lands and looked around. There were mountains the dripped poison, walls of purer flame and majestic waterfalls that came out of cracked rocks. He wanted a meeting place. A place for any Sylestis who wanted to work together to find the cure. that won't be many he thought. Aktorca started to build the 'meeting post' himself. He was fire and water so first he made a lake of crystal clear water. Small fish swam around in it. Then, podiums of fire, reaching high into the sky. He planted trees that grew un-naturally quickly as the water had many good minerals in at and the fire made heat. Then, Aktorca realised that he wasn't the only multi. He had two members.

This will be a whole tribe thing. Not just me, they can help. I need help. And friends. Maybe we'll get along. Now, what were their names.... thought Aktorca. He remembered and yelled " Ausra, Kronos, are you here? Tribal meeting, I've got things to do!! Come on!!"

Then, Aktorca remembered that they might not be there. "Sorry about that," he shouted. " Ausra, Kronos, are you here? Um... Present. Are you present??"

I'm a hopeless leader. Bylanthos was way better. And older. I'm a teenager, for multi's sake!! (his way of saying 'for god's sake')Damn. Well being angry won't help. I'll be happy by the time Ausra and Kronos get here Aktorca thought. I hope I'm a quick learner....Being leader's hard...

Then he started putting more colourful fish into the crystal waters.

A dark, huge figure loomed in the distance, as the figure came closer it turned out to be Metalic, the Metal Tribe leader. His claws had been covered in priceless metal that looked good, and was very strong.
His beak had shards of diffrent metals like gold, iron and silver planted in it. They shone in the light and reflected every colour.
Metalic bowed at the multi leader. " Ho! " he said, greeting as he claws left gashes in the earth. " I came bearing news of trouble... " he sighed sadly. " Metal has run low and our defencess windel, only yesterday where we attacked by a group of boars, wolves and bears...we held off what we could but unfourtently they reached our farms and obliterated them, we seek help of food sharing from your tribe... " he coughed and brushed back his head feathers " oh course you may have food, but to share I concern... "
Metalic always liked werid, complex sentences...

Majestic stood proud and tall..well tall anyway. He wasn't too proud these past few days. Who would have thought that he'd be thrown into a leadership position so soon. Who would have thought he'd lose his mate and his Sire in the same day. Leaf Tribe was scattered, most died from the dark side the rest seemingly vanished. Save but a few...and his...egg. He stood upon a hill looking down at what was left of his little village. The very same that he grew up in, learned how to run fast, control his powers. The stag sighed and looked down at the light green egg speckled with dark greens. Visions of Rosemary danced in his head. Majestic snorted, shaking his head to clear his mind. He couldn't think of that now, he had to find what was left of his tribe. With a swirl of his head, a thin vine grew around the egg and placed it gently upon his back, then secured it in place. Now the work would began as he made his way down the hill to search through the scattered remains and hoped to find someone alive and still sane.

"Hello, Metallic! Did you say metal has run low? We can help with that. Since the multi tribe is...was mixed elements, we had to cater for all needs. So we have a mine and an orchard. The mine is ore rich and the orchard is protected from the plant-killing weather and creatures. So, we can help," said Aktorca.

"But we want something in return. Not much, Metallic, but something, for nothing in this world is free. I've learnt that the hard way. So, in return for food and metal, I want a talk about a cure for the Dark and maybe an alliance. That's the price. Just a couple of minutes. But I can't invite you here without a welcome. Multi leaders would never have done that. So, here is a little gift. I made one of these for each tribe in hopes of working together to find a cure."

Aktorca picked up an object covered with a chainmail blanket. It was made for the metal tribe. Inside, there were 2 bars of metal, 4 bits of metal ore, 5 apples and a pear. Pears were a rarity in the multi lands. They didn't grow very well and it was a great honour to receive one.

Metallic probably doesn't realise how important you have to be to get a pear. But, it's the best I can give thought Aktorca. He handed the basket to Metallic.

"Hope your tribe likes it. Open it and see what's inside!!" Aktorca loved it when he gave people presents. It made him feel good inside. "Come on, don't wait! And follow me to my meeting area. Afterwards then we can go to the orchards and the mine."
