Yeah that could work well. It seems like this will be a darker start to the story but I think it's a good idea.

Up to 2 maybe? If they play a few minor characters occasionally that should be fine as well don't you think?

Okay so I want to add how he comes back as a ghost but I'm not sure how.



Smoke leaped up onto the boulder and barked the sylestia call.He heard the answering chirps,howls,barks, and shreaiks of the other sylesties.He even heard some roars and other calls he couldn't quit distinguish.

When all the sylesties arrived by sunset he began.

"As you all know the humans have torn our homes apart.They have scared away prey and destroyed land and poisened the water.Some of us a dying at the moment."

"So what do you want us to do about it,"A young sharped tongue Lupora asked.

"Leave with me, we will find a new land with out 2-legs"Was smoke's answered.

"I'm sorry but I cant aford to go on any journeys at the moment,"Spoke a cute Vulnix with 3 little hatchlings she left te clearing followed by 2 little females and one male.
After that the others followed in pairs or families and by themselves.

Until the only one left was Smoke.
"Then I shall have to leave by myself."

He leaps down and stumbles a little before grabbing his pack and slinging it onto his back.He travels into the dark...

I like it. After that though you should have a break line and then say something like "And two weeks passed." so that time has passed and Smoke came back.
