Ahhh, Lucky! I can't travel at all to go to cons ORZ

Only Con that I've been to was the Izumicon last year ,which is a small one here in OKC. Threw together a punk/gothic angel cosplay with some nice wings I got for five bucks at a local shop *_*
I'm getting mixed answers on whether they're having it again this year.

I've been going to toracon, although this year they did it early expecting to grab the warm weather, then the temp dropped down to like 30 LOL. I dressed as chi. I'll see if I can find pics.

I went to Philadelphia comic con this year and it was loads of fun. I went as Nepeta Leijon from Homestuck on Sat and Sun and I had a HUGE group of Homestucks to hang out with while I was there. Bought some cool stuff, met some cool people. It was pretty great tbh. Did any of you guys go to Otakon this year? I just got back and it was honestly so much fun. On Friday I went as human!Vriska Serket from Homestuck: http://oi44.tinypic.com/15g8m0n.jpg That's me, front and center at the Homestuck photoshoot. I felt like such a bad cosplayer because everyone else was so amazing. It was pretty dumb that my worst cosplay was the one that I've got the most pictures of. On Saturday, I did my best costume and I barely have any pictures of it. I went as the Signless, also from Homestuck of course. http://oi41.tinypic.com/207xd9u.jpg I'm sort of in the background standing up pretty straight looking off into the distance yo. Like on the left a little wearing the brownish cloak. And then of course on Sunday I went as Nepeta again because I was totally in love with that cosplay like yooo. Sadly I didn't get any pictures yet, and I haven't found any from the photoshoot quite yet which is rather disappointing.
Yo, story time from Otakon, everyone gather 'round. So on Sunday I dressed as Nepeta and a really good friend of mine dressed as Karkat, and I was so excited because I ship those two characters so hard and I had a major crush on her for such a long time like wow. So anyway, we went to the Homestuck photoshoot and we went up for pictures and whatnot, and then finally they called for Karkats and Nepetas for the Katnep pairing shot, and we went up together, and I asked her to go out with me right there on the spot. It was really sweet, omg. I got down on one knee and presented her with a ring and everything. She said yes woo.


Anyway, I'm going to a few more cons in the future. The ones I'm planning on going to so far are Baltimore Comic Con, Anime USA, and possibly NY Comic Con.
