"Hmm, I didn't know that about the town. Can I come along?" Akari asked, as they went to get food. "Do you know the kids on a personal level, if that's alright to ask you?"

Lillian nodded."You bet i do, i use to babysit all of them before the war hit.They would call me big sis, sista, sister, or sometimes mom because some of their mothers either didn't survive child birth, the first attack of the war, or plan old walked out on the dad.So in a way right now i'm a blesser to them, give them food when needed. So yes i know them each kid in that town i know, birthday,age, race,etc."She said "Well unless i forgot some kid like he's new to the camp or somethin."She said

"Ah. I didn't know you were so close to them." Akari said. "Their stories are sad, but they are blessed to have someone like you who cares for them. Many wouldn't even bother about anything you do for them. They'd most rather leave them alone than try and even help them."

Lillian nodded."why do you think those kids love me, to me their family the only family i have left.They love me and i love them."She said. " Plus it's good they survived Kids need to their future people for this world so peace can happen."She said "And yeah, i guess some of their stories are sad...But in times like this i make my choices carefully but when it comes to these kids i'll protect them with my final breath."She said as she walked into the cafeteria and picked up a bag to put some food in.

"They're the only family you have left...?" Akari asked, raising an eyebrow as she followed Lillith's lead. "And yes, we do need them to help us gain peace. But I'd prefer it if the war dies with our generation, so the kids can live and grow up in a peaceful era. But when it comes down to friends and family, I wouldn't mind dying for them."

Lillith sighed." My parents were killed in front of me as the war started.I was almost captured by those human salers,ya know THE human sellers that dont ask question about why you by someone...i had to kill them with my bare hands and protect those kids. When i found this job i was glad because i could protect these people."She said as she started to put food in the bag.Apples,Pears,bread loafs, banana's, fruits, and such till the bag was filled." Those kids are my family...i raised some of them when they were just babies so i'm family to them as well so i won't hesitate to open a can of whop butt on someone who harms them."she said. "By the way why are you allowing to do this?"

Akari smiled briefly, filling her own paper bags with food. Turning her head so she could see Lillith clearly, she hummed a reply. "That's a noble cause to fight for, to protect those you love. Many here fight because they were forced to. After all, who would want to join a job where you can't guarantee your own life everytime you go on field. Heh, did you know that's the same reason both me and Geraint and our squads joined the army? It's so we can protect the people we love, the people whom we treasure. As for why I'm allowing you to do this... Make a guess, eh?"

Lillith smiled."Thanks Akari."she said smiling.Walking towards the backdoor of the cafeteria room she walked out the door smiling.

Akari fell into pace beside Lillith, muttering a 'Isn't it something everyone should do?' as they made their way to the village. At least she remembered the way there, so if she got separated from Lillith she shouldn't be lost.

Lillith smiled as she saw the forms of the little girl from yestreday. "Ah hello lillian.how was today?" She said as the little girl smiled. "great!i made a friend!Plus i should those bullies i told ya about who's boss!"She said. "With no voilence i hope?" "Nope but there was pranking." lillian said as lillith sighed. "Well here's two peaches dear, i'll be going to the others."she said as the little girl smiled
