Layla

"Wait. It's. . . 10 miles away? I ran 10 MILES here? Plus how would Roxanne know? She's in the hospital. It may be for nothing, but it's not like she's going to sneak up behind you." She turned back to the group, shocked and a little miffed. She crossed her arms and sighed.

Oliver

"Does that mean you're going to leave before she comes back? And thanks for the help." Though he couldn't take his mind off of the note. If it worried a deadly sin, it must've been a very overt death threat. Or something of that nature.

Suddenly, a white lambo comes screeching to a halt right in front of the group, and someone steps out of the driver seat. "Thanks Max," Jameson helps Alyra walk to the car and sets her in the passenger seat. "I'll be flying home, but you should be careful on the roads sire, it's a bit icy out." Says Max, who opens his wings and shoots across the sky like a comet after first receiving a friendly fist bump from Jameson. "Hop in y'all." He tells Layla and Oliver, gesturing to the back seat after sitting in the driver's seat.

Layla

She hopped into the backseat with no hesitation. She didn't want to be silent during the car ride, however, as she thought it might make her look like a bad person. But she couldn't think about anything to say. In the end, she just decided to fiddle with the edges of her dress, noticing that a lot of the fabric had gotten burned. Oh well, at least this wasn't an important dress or anything.

Oliver

He soon followed his sister into the backseat, slowly sitting down and closing the door behind him. He once again adjusted the straps on his wings, not wanting to acknowledge how uncomfortable they were. So he took them off saying that it was purely because he didn't want to take up too much space. It should probably take us about twenty minutes or more to get back to the school. Since Jameson would hopefully drive slower on ice roads.

Jameson in fact did not drive slower on the icy roads. While Alyra was holding tightly to the edges of her seat, Jameson drove speedily down the road without a care in the world for anyone's safety apparently. Upon seeing Alyra's fright, he laughed and assured her "Don't worry, i'm a really good driver, and this car is fortified with spells to protect us. After my parents-" He pauses for a second, but only a second, a hurt and sad expression flashing across his face and a mournful look in his eyes upon remembering his family and the way that they died. "-found out about my passion for racing, they pulled some strings and now I have someone to make sure i'm always safe. Max, the ginger who drove my car here, is a fairy. We're friends, but I still pay him."

Alessa watched them leave and turned to Cole. "Are you a student at Scorchwood?" she asked and he nodded. "Okay, let's go." Alessa said and shifted into a wolf. Cole followed suit, and shifted into a coyote. They ran along the road to get back to Scorchwood High.

(Whenever I leave, so many things happen lol. I can barely keep up.)

"Does anyone mind if I turn on some music?" Jameson asks, not waiting for an answer before messing with the dials on the dashboard and turning on the radio. "Eyes on the road!" Squeaks an absolutely terrified Alyra, not settled at all by the fact that some fairy is protecting them. "Fine, fine, you pick something then." Jameson rolls his eyes jokingly and continues driving. Alyra, not wanting to risk them doing a little off-roading if Jameson decides to mess with the radio on his own again, finds a station playing "Primadona" by Sueco and decides that it is a suitable song to listen to before holding on to the edges of her seat again in fear of somehow being flung out the closed window.

Alessa turned her head slightly as a car swerved around the road. She yelped as it almost hit her. Cole grabbed her and dragged to the bike lane on the road so they hopefully wouldn't become road-kill.

Layla

She gripped her seat and the handle above the window tighter. "Why are you in such a rush?" Forget the assassins and the Wendigo, Jameson's the one who's going to kill me! "I mean, I don't care how good of a driver you are, but isn't that one of the first things they teach in driver's Ed? To not drive like a maniac in adverse conditions?!"

Oliver

Usually, he wasn't scared of being in a car. But when someone assures you they're a good driver and prove they are anything but, you tend to be a little on edge. "Yeah, I remember them distinctly saying something about halving your normal miles per hour when the roads are slick."

"Not to worry everyone, I didn't go to driver's ed." Jameson laughs, turning on the breaks of the front wheels of the car while the back wheels were still going 65 mph, which sends the car's rear end flipping over the front and doing a 360 in the air to jump over Alessa, who he almost accidentally hit. Alyra screams like a banshee even after the car is "safely" back on the ground, and keeps screaming for another minute straight until the finally stops the car in the parking lot of Scorchwood high. "We're here," He laughs again, casually getting out of the car like nothing chaotic had happened at all. "Alyra, you look very pale." He tells Alyra, who practically falls out of the car and toward a patch of hedges to throw up.

Alessa leaped out of the way as the car did a total 360. Cole ran with her until they eventually reached Scorchwood High. He shifted back into a human and chuckled. " Whew!" he gasped for breath. "We're here." Alessa becomes human again and scoffs. " Yeah, that was one heck of a trip." she said and they walked together into the school. Cole walked ahead of her and Alessa turned to wave at Alyra. " Hey, long time no see." she said, then frowned as Alyra threw up by a group of hedges.
