(Sorry I was gone for so long, I was asleep haha. And honestly I cant remember what theyre called either but I do have to ask if this is for all species in this roleplay or just like shifters or harpies. Because I do like playing characters with elements :D)

Layla

Layla just sat on the grass, still trying to process what just happened. Okay, on step at a time. I was definitely about to die. And then a flash of white light and my instincts took over and I ran. But how did the house burn down? I don't remember any flames. Perhaps I'm in shock? So instead of trying to remember what happened, she sat next to Alyra and checked her pulse, trying to stanch the bleeding as well as she could. "You know, I don't normally say this, but that fire did help us out."

Oliver

He watched everyone come out of the house in a panic. In truth, he really had no idea how he himself had gotten out of there. One of the only things he could trust, however, was that he never let go of his sister's hand. He also knew his arm had been badly burned, but he didn't want to alarm anyone so he just pulled his shirt over it. "I suppose it did," he said, not acknowledging the vampire that came up to them. Oliver recognized him from the market yesterday, after the incident. "Though what I want to know is why they thought you had such important information, Alyra."

Alessa
Alessa shifted back into her human form in a swing of brown-and-blue braids. She watched as the coyote did the same, and Alessa's eyes widened. "Cole?! Is that you?" she said, staring at the boy who resembled Cole Forest.

Cole
"Yes, I am. How do you know that? Who are you?" he demanded. The girl lifted her owl mask. " My name is Alessandra Katz. You know that, Cole. You're the one who got me exiled." she snapped and Cole felt all of the memories flashing back. " You're not the only one who got exiled. My pack left me for dead when they learned about you." Cole retorted, and Alessa scoffed. It's like she's never changed since those three years ago. He thought, then winced. "What?" Alessa said. " I must've gotten burned from the fire. It's no big deal." Right as he said that, the burn began to heal. " Who even started that fire?" Alessa pondered out loud and Cole wondered that himself. It was definitely strange to have a fire start in the middle of a party.

(They don't have elements, they're basically just different clans that go to war against each other and like, assassinate people. The elements sort of reflect their skills/way of life, and any species could be in the clans)

"Oh no, this can't be happening. This can't be happening." Alyra panics. "My family! They'll kill them!" She cries reaching for the pocket where she kept her phone and realizing that it had been ripped and her phone is now gone.
Jameson picks up Alyra's arm and dumps some sparkly pastel yellow onto it from a small vial, which makes her arm heal up instantly, and then he puts another one on Oliver's arm, though it was rather aggressive for him. "I started the fire, but those idiots got away. I think they were Pines, but that doesn't make any sense. Their speech was perfect and they held themselves like kings."
"How do you know of that?" Alyra questions him, snatching her arm away and trying not to get captivated in his eyes.
"It's common knowledge. My family used to hire Flare assassins every once in a while, and we learned much from them." Jameson explains. "But I've never heard about an artifact of such high importance before..." he reaches over to brush a strand of hair from Alyra's face, but she bites his hand. "Jimminy cricket! What was that for?!" He yells, yanking his hand away.

Alessa got ripped from her thoughts as she saw Alyra, two vampires, and a deadly sin sitting not far from her and Cole. She put her mask on to try to hide herself so Alyra wouldn't recongize her. Cole turned to her, tilting his head. " You know them?" he asked and Alessa nodded, then shook her head. "Yes, no. Well, I know Alyra, the fox shifter/harpy, but I have no idea who the vampires and deadly sin are." she answered. Cole frowned. "Then why are you hiding?" Alessa shrugged. " I don't know actually." she replied, turning back to where Alyra was.

(You dont understand how hard I laughed at "Jimminy Cricket")

Oliver

He grimaced as the liquid hits his arm, feeling immense pain, before it healed the burn. "Alright, someone is obviously not in the mood for questions. But why would the Pines have come all the way out here, to ask Alyra questions about some artifact? It seems. . . wrong." He rolled his shoulder, checking for any other injuries and finding none.

Layla

"The leader's eyes were red. And he said something about the Flares killing Alyra's family. Perhaps they were also Flares?" She muttered, and backed away from Alyra a bit to make sure she didn't get bitten. But still, she checked Alyra's arm to made sure it still moved alright. "There's a wolf shifter over there, too, Alyra. She keeps looking at you. I think it was the girl you were with before someone tried to steal your bag." Once she assured herself Alyra was, in fact, okay, she checked herself for injuries. I'm pretty lucky to not have gotten any horrible injuries from that. "You know, speaking of that, could it possibly have been related to this incident?"

(I was laughing so hard while typing it too )

"There's no way they were Pines." Alyra scoffs, rolling her eyes at Jameson, which was completely out of character for her because she avoids doing things that might come across as mean at all costs. "They must have been rogue Ziran. They're the only ones who have access to truth serums like that, and they red eyes must have been from a potion accident." Alyra confirms, before remembering what they had said about her family. "They have my family. And if they are rogue Ziran, then they are going to do a lot worse than kill them." She gets more angry then she has ever been in her entire life, and stands up, only to have her legs collapse from under her. In embarrassment, she tries to stand up again but finds herself unable to. "I gave you the antidote to the truth serum, but it causes side effects, like temporary weakness for example." Jameson tells her, helping her up. For some reason Alyra feels safe near him, but doesn't know why. It's not like they know each other, or like they're friends or anything. "Some Ziran are so spiritual that they have mastered some strange abilites, such as teleportation across small strips of land, but rogues typically don't do that..." Alyra thinks about Layla's words, and then sees a small slip of paper sticking out of her shoe. She points to it and Jameson picks it up, starting to read it out loud, but then stopping, shoving it in his pocket. "We need a private place to go. This can't be read with so many people around." He informs Alyra, Layla, and Oliver with a worried expression on his face.

Ethan apporoached the half-breed, the vampires, and the deadly sin boy as they tried to leave. "Well, well, well. Going somewhere?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, in fact, we are." Jameson pulls Alyra behind him, sensing something terribly off about this guy. Alyra starts shaking in panic, smelling a strange evil off of the person who just walked up to them. "Alyra, is it ok if we all go to your dorm? I'm afraid that my maids will be invasive." Jameson asks Alyra, who replies with a simple "Ok," before growling at Ethan.

Oliver

"Yes, that would be the best place to go." How convenient that this vampire always seems to show up after something bad has happened. But I do wonder what's so worrying on that note. He helped his sister off the ground, and gave the vampire a distrustful look. "In fact, I suggest we get going now."

Layla

Dusting herself off, and steadying her breathing was all she could do. She nodded and started walking in the direction of the school, not giving any mind to the vampire. "As long as you think you can get there, Alyra."

"One sec, I can call in my chaufuer." Jameson says, taking out his phone and texting something to someone. "The school is over 10 miles away, there's no way we're walking that. Especially not with Alyra unable to walk on her own." He explains. "Keep an eye out for a white 2023 Lamborghini Urus." He continues, searching the road for his car and visibly in a hurry to leave. "When Roxanne finds out I was talking to you guys, she's going to be really mad..." He tells them in a hushed voice, though it was mainly to himself.
