"atleast you know what happened to your dad mine never came back which made my mother loose it and lock me in my room for weeks and months only to come out to homeschool me and that sucked she was always calling me stupid or dumb or a failure, I got angry and she would just lock me up like a prisoner, which made me even worse getting upset at the slightest way people treat me! Heck! I don't even have a last name and I don't know if maple is my real name and when I did go to public school it wasn't like I thought it would be then once I thought I was gonna be something more I come out with this stupid power only thing water is useful for is drinking" she said looking away from him "trust me if I could jump infront of a train willingly I would" she mumbled burying her head in her knees

"you control water, you can cause floods, stop floods, cause and stop droughts and do a lot of other cool things. your parents sucked, i get it. that doesn't get to stop you from being a good person." he tells her, firmly. "you get to do so many important and cool things. you could make sharknado in real life, just saying. i got bees. once i've got these under control, i'm going back to school. all these stupid bees aren't going to stop me from being an adoption attorney" he says, pulling a bee off his back as it tried to crawl down the back of his shirt. he flicks it away, and it buzzes off, finding something else to crawl on. "with the bee's gone, i could do something worth it. with them here, i wouldn't even be allowed on campus" he pauses, thinking. "you want a last name? make yourself one. separate yourself from your past, be someone new."

"easy for you to say it's not easy and you have hope I refuse to go back to school after being treated the way I did" she said pulling back her hair as a huge gash appeared starting from her shoulder all the way down to her ribs, she moved her hair back silently "my parents arnt the only ones who treated me like an imposter, besides I will never be able to do those things anyways so just.....stop" she said her voice kinda muffled

"not with that attitude. my mother always told me that an attitude can change your whole perspective... i guess she had to believe that, being an eighteen year old mother with no source of income, parents who wouldn't take her in and a newborn son. i'm just saying, sometimes it helps to have a good attitude - or at least enough spite to make something good out of yourself" he says, awkwardly.

"I don't know I had a positive attitude but I lost all hope so I don't know anymore" she says depressingly "and I don't have any friends to help me I ditched Everyone else just to come back and be gloved" she said sadly

"well, spite it is then" he states. "you want to leave, yes?" he asks, glancing around. "i might be able to do something about that"

"but I want to help you to and I can't go back since I basically told everyone to F off" she said looking at him "I just want a friend" she says sadly pulling her kitten from her pocket that she was hiding

"...i knew ruby when she was here, she's pretty forgiving. i can't say anything about the rest, but ruby will take you back" he promises "and from what i know, the others gather behind her"

"but what about you?" She asked looking at him gently examining his face "I don't want to leave you here alone if anything does happen tho"

"i'll be fine" he waves his hand dismissively "you're not allergic to bees, right?" he asks "because there's going to be a lot of them in a minute"
