"I like your name," Zym tells Layla, and twirls her like in the movies. "And your costume. What are you dressed as?" He asks.

"Sorry about that," Alyra laughs. "it can't all be so terrible though. I mean, at least your parents taught you things, mine used to just send me to my room with a new electronic any time I got bored." "And before you ask, yes, I was an i-pad kid," She tells Oliver in embarrassment. "And I learned everything I know from you-tube shorts..."

(I dont think I have like a specific 80s band I like tbh. I like specific songs from different bands, but I think I like a lot of Pat Benatar's songs. Or at least I like the ones Ive heard)

Layla

"I'm supposed to be a ghost. But since people keep asking I suppose it isn't as obvious as I thought." She noticed the white paint on her arms had started melting. Well, that likely doesn't help. She did her best at dancing with Zym, noticing he was quite good at dancing himself, and decided he entirely let him lead.

Layla

"Oh, is that what you thought? No, no, they just hired someone else to do that for them. Thought being an iPad kid couldnt be all bad. The internet gives you much more straightforward answer than some books do." He thought back to when his parents had hired tutors for them both, and how much the tutors didn't help them at all."You're likely more socially aware than either of us."

Alessa
Alessa walked around, nervous at this many people. She had never thought that it would be this crowded. Literally everyone was here. She stood off to the side, watching the group cautiously.

Cole
Cole turned around, deciding to leave when he stopped himself. He spotted the boy and he was dressed up as an assassin. How ironic! Cole thought sarcastically, wanting to go up to him but deciding not to. Cole just glared at him before turning around again.

Ethan watched the shifter boy, glowering. Why was he here? He decided that the only way to determine if he was a real threat was to confront him. Ethan sauntered over to the shifter, flashing him a dazzling smile.
"How are you enjoying the party?"

Sasha's jaw dropped as she stared at the angel.
"You.... I'm a deadly sin now?"
The angel continued to stare at the ground.
"Well, yeah..."
"Which one?"
The angel continued to stare at the ground.
"WHICH ONE!?" Sasha gasped as the tips of her hair flickered with flames.
The angel looked at her. "Wrath." She held up a small mirror
Sasha stared at herself in the mirror. Her wings were gone, and her eyes were all pupil. She was a freak. A monster.
"Nononononono..."

Cole
Cole whipped around, seeing the boy. But instead of being angry, he tried to play along. "It's fine. I didn't expect there to be so many people."

Alessa
Alessa tried to blend into her surroundings, overwhelmed by how many people there were. She tried to leave, but a group of vampires were partying near the door. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to stop a social anxiety attack that she felt was coming. Alessa opened her eyes and spotted an open door and bolted, escaping the house, calming down just slightly. She knew no one here, so why did she even come? She didn't even celebrate Halloween! It's just a stupid holiday for fools. She always tells herself, but she came to this party anyways. She leaned on a tree not that far from the house, watching the people inside.

Zym, being the minotaur that he is, continuously flirts with Layla, not missing a chance to put his hands on her waist or lean closer to her, dropping the cheesiest pickup lines possible.

After seeing Alessa, Alyra takes a double-take to see if it's really her, and after confirming it in her brain, she realizes that Alessa seems to be in a state of panic before running out the door. Concerned for her first friend she made at the school, even though they didn't know each other all that well, she appologises to Oliver, quickly explaining the situation before chasing after Alessa. Her slim build would have made it simple to slide through the crowd, but the branches on her costume ended up getting ripped off without her knowledge.

Spotting Alyra in the crowd, Roxanne smirks evily and glares after her, curious why she had showed up. Isn't she scared of what I could do to her in my own home? She wonders, a bit impressed. Maybe in another universe we could have been friends, she is good enough to join my clique I guess, but I can't be seen with a half-breed when my family has such a high status, it's disgraceful.

Layla

Layla, being the awkward mess she is, blushing like a tomato. Though she never tried to stop him. She did roll her eyes at the pickup lines. "Are those really the best you could come up with?" She smirked, and immediately burst out into laughter.

Oliver

"Don't worry about it, go help your friend." He watched as she ran away and retreated from the dance floor. But not before picking up her branches before they were trampled on. He noticed Roxanne watching Alyra from afar and waved at Roxanne, to get her attention off of Alyra, even if for a minute.

Feeling offended about his "rizz" being insulted, Zym shakes his head and walks away in a fury. "Sheesh." He says, and finds a new girl to flirt with shortly after, showing his rude and less kind side.

Roxanne doesn't notice Oliver's attempt to distract her, but Jameson does. Then he realizes that Roxanne is staring intently at something, so he follows her gaze to Alyra and panics slightly. He walks up to the dj booth and asks to borrow the mic, and then plays some sappy love song. "This song is dedicated to my pure-bred beauty." He says through the mic, and winks at Oliver and Roxanne at the same time, for two entirely different purposes. He then jogs up the stairs to the balcony Roxanne was standing on and they dance to the song. (I'm too lazy to pick a song lol)

Layla

"What the heck is rizz?" She ponders out loud before leaving the dance floor. Oh well, at least I know he was rude now, rather than later. Though I do wonder what I said that made him so upset. It was quite obviously a joke. She notices Oliver standing alone in the crowd and goes over to him. "So. . . Where's Alyra?"

Oliver

He was grateful for the distraction, but cringed at how Jameson handled it. Ugh, a tribute to his wonderful girlfriend. But mostly, he felt relief. Hopefully that gave Alyra enough time to get off of Roxanne's radar. Mouthing "thanks" at Jameson, he finally noticed his sister standing there. "So. . . Where's Alyra?"
"She left to go after a distressed friend." He curtly replied before returning his attention to the way she left, her branches still held in his hands. "She'll probably be back soon, though, don't worry."

(Do you for real not know what rizz means? dang I only said that to be relatable lmao)

Alyra soon loses sight of where Alessa ran off to, and decides to go back to where she left Oliver, but gets swept up in the crowd. And being only 5'4, is not very clearly visable to anyone unless they have an overhead view. In a panic, she spins around searching for which direction she might find any of her friends in, but can't see over or through anyone because of their height and costumes.
