Kevin walked out from behind the tree in enough time to see a girl, a guy, and a huge truck. Without thinking he ran as fast as he could and lunged at the girl hitting her and knocking both of them away from the truck. Was this the girl that had promised to meet him by the tree so many years ago? Could she be the one?

Mel felt impact and the next thing she knew she was laying on the sidewalk in front of kuro with a guy on top of her. She was confused at first and pushed the guy off of her. "Why." She whispered. She knew it was bad to cheat death and it would be twice as bad next time it happened.

Kuro saw a guy jump out of no where and push Mel out of the way. He ran over to her side and looked at her with scared eyes. " Mel are you okay?! " he said at her, almost shouting. " Y-You where almost hit?! Did you want to die?! " he said, ignoring the guy who had saved her. He then bent down and hugged her. " You moron!! "

Kevin stood there and watched uncomfortably. he didnt know if he just interrupted her suicide attempt or not but the good thing is she was still alive.

Mel cried into his shoulder. She was more angry that she was saved by someone who wasn't Kuro. he wouldn't even of gave his life to save her, she knew she should have died there. "You didn't save me." she whispered slightly stun. she knew there was enough time to save her or at least try. They could have died together.

Kuro looked at the floor sadly. " I wouldn't of had enough time to reach you... " he said to her, still hugging her. " But don't you ever...ever do that again...please...otherwise you would of died and I would blame myself... "
He hugged his friend tighter, not wanting to let go in case she attempted to get hit by something else.

Kevin didn't know what to do so he crossed back over the street and stood leaning up against the tree. he knew he was waiting for someone, the note had told him to come here everyday and they would show themselves. he didn't know why he wasted every afternoon standing here and waiting. He was probably wasting his time.

Mel scooted away from his grasp and just looked at him. She wondered if he was telling the truth. to her it looked like he had plaety of time to get to her but maybe since she was looking at it dead on it looked further away. she didn't know if that as possible but she hoped it was. Without even realizing it she looked back over to the tree and tears stung her eyes again. why couldn't she remember? With a gasp she saw a guy leaning against it and she wondered if he was a ghost. "do you see him?" she whispered and a small smiled spread across her face. It was her brother... (BOOYA!!!! Plot Twist!!!)

( OMG D: Mel has a brother?! )

Kuro looked at confused. " Yeah I see him...he's the guy who only just managed to save you Mel...why? " he asked curiously. Did she hit her head and that making her slightly bonkers?

(She does now!!! XD)

Mel felt tears sting her eyes and she couldn't help but start laughing. She had thought her whole family was dead but standing right before her was her brother. he had joined the army so they had lost touch, and the last thing she heard was that he was wanted for treason because he refused to fight in some petty war. "That's my brother." She whispered.

Kuro looked at the laughing Mel confused. He only caught the first bit of what she had said. " He's your what? " he asked, leaning a bit closer to Mel looking at her confused. " He's your what? " he repeated to himself.

Mel stopped laughing and looked up at Kuro with a big grin. "he is my brother." She said and joy overfilled her. "I can't believe he is alive." She said and started crying. Her emotions were all over the place and she didn't know how to feel about this situation because v=before she knew it anger filled her and she was slamming her fist on the ground and yelling.

(Imagine a citizen walking by, I think I would be staring. XD ...)

Kuro was surprised at how her emotions where changing and shuffled back a bit. " He's your...brother? " he said, confused. " But I thought... " he looked away slightly ashamed. " I thought all your family was dead... "
