"maybe some of us need out powers gone!" he says, crossing her arms "some of us aren't as lucky as you, you get a power that doesn't plague you wherever you go, people don't see it. people aren't annoyed by your presence" he rants, gesturing at the bees beginning to swarm him again.

She looks at him "but I'm not unique....water! Really? I would rather have no powers yours is better than mine! Atleast cooler anyways- I'm not annoyed by your bee's as long as they don't try to sting me then I'm cool you just need to be around people who accept you, I mean I'm an annoying person powers or not even when I considered myself a normal person I never had friends" she didn't wanna leave jack here obviously not with her but she couldn't go back either she didn't wanna be the person they point at and say I told you so but she felt his pain "and besides you could die-" she said silently

"i'd kill to have a power like water!" he exclaims "my mom is allergic to bees, and she's the only family i have" he quiets down, looking tired. "i can't sleep, and i can't see the only family i have left. no one wants tp be around me because the bees crawl all over them. my power is a curse" he sighs.

"not if you control them, besides atleast you still have family my family doesn't want me no more anyways" she says Looking away then back at him "just help and then we can leave- together- and go find the others" she says smiling a little

"just because i communicate with the bees doesn't mean the bees want to do what i'm telling them to" he grumbles "look, i'll see what i can do to get you out of here, but i'm staying. Angela is the only one who can help me" he sighs.

"or you can just trust me..." She moves away from him silently and just sat down looking away from him, she was disappointed in his choice but she couldn't leave him here, he will learn and I will just watch, she thought, she wanted to tell and slap him in the face but didn't she got her self in this predicament and had to withstand it

Angela walks back into the room, holding a chart, stopping when she see's the destroyed machine. "i thought i told you not to touch anything" she says, glaring at maple. "it's my fault" Jack interjects, stepping forward. "some bees got inside and they must have bumped something important because it started sparking and caught fire, and i freaked out and put it in the water" he lies, looking sheepish. she purses her lips, then sighs. "well, i suppose you had no control over that, now did you?" she says "it's ok. once we get your powers under control, things like this wont happen anymore"

Maple stayed silent ignoring her tantrum and his lying even tho it hurt her to her core to see him doing this she just kept her head down going back to her usual silent self when she first got here, not in the way, not getting all the attention, just there, she wasn't happy, she wasn't sad, just emotionless, she knew her powers wouldn't work in this state because it happened before

"do you have a favorite, Kaito?" i ask, looking at him. we've been riding the train for an hour now as it chugs all around the city, showing us all sorts of awesome street art and spots that are a perfect blend of magic and reality.


Angela:

"as for you" she rounds on maple "i've got something for you" she produces a set of gloves that go up mid way to her elbows, handing them to her "these will make it do you can't use your powers. we've had people with less strong powers that were similar to yours, so they were easy to make. why don't you go ahead and put them on" she smiles. Jack looks at the gloves longingly, and Angela notices, giving him a sympathetic smile.

She winced at less strong power and he said her power was cool yeah right, she puts on the gloves and just sits with her hands in her lap silently ignoring her talking she just did what she was told, her hair fell behind her ears so they where not in the way she just had her eyes on the ground, she wish she never had powers at this point she was a failure just like her mother said she would be,gloves or not she wasn't going to use her power not anymore
