Hello! As seen in the rp rules, this is a semi-literate to literate rp. Please try to write at least a proper paragraph before posting a reply!

"I'm...I'm not sure...." Morgan swallowed, trying to catch their breath. "I was just looking at some seeds, and next thing I know, I'm being chased." They cleared their throat, straightening as the other stranger began to address them. The slight of hand was not lost on them however - there was pain. They could sense it, a wave radiating towards them.
Their face broke at the offer, a grateful, yet cautious smile. "W-would you? I'd...earn my keep. Tenfold." It would require them to show up their powers, but something about these people - in their energy - said they could be trusted. Likely they had some kind of magic too. Morgan nodded at the stranger with pocketed hands, giving a small gesture. "And I can help with that, too."

Margeaux / F / Princess / Rohan, Noitara Pes/ Mentions: Rowanne
Margeaux gave her a smile, her eyes bright. "To the library, then," she replied, taking the lead as they walked through the slowly emptying streets of the town. "Which book are you interested in?" She asked, her curiosity piquing. "An adventure novel, with a daring knight and a dragon? The biography of a famous scholar of Telma'h? Perhaps a riveting romance on the high seas?" She turned to walk backwards so she could face Rowanne, throwing her arms and cloak wide with all the theatrics she could muster. "A guide to mend the mortally wounded? A philosopher's guide to the universe as we know it?" Margeaux let the wind rustle her skirts, adding to the effects. It felt freeing. Oh, she couldn't wait to be rid of the horrors that gripped their world.

Ghadir tries to figure out why someone would want to arrest someone for looking at seeds. Didnt seem logical in the least. Oh well. Ghadir slips back to the present outside of his thoughts and smiles as Morgan smiles. "I would! You wouldn't have to earn your keep-"
"We'll accept your deal. You'll be earning keep," Shard pauses at a pleading look from Ghadir and finishes with, "but you don't have to do so tenfold. Sixfold will serve well enough." Ghadir's complaint is cut short as Shard motions for everyone to keep their voices down. People had ears; they would overhear and spread anything that sounded like worthwhile gossip.
Ghadir leads the way, his gait more of a skip than a walk. Shard shakes their head once more at Ghadirs childish behavior but follows after the eager lad, keeping whatever pace Morgan does.

Rowanne Kinigos/ F/ Lady-in-waiting/ Rohan, Noitara Pes/ Mentions: Margeaux, NPC
Rowanne can't help but smile and stare at her princess with a gentle fondness. Her heart begins to beat faster as Margeaux turns around to face her.
"As good as all those books sound, would you believe me if I said I wanted a cookbook on how to fillet fish?" She puts a protective arm around Margeaux and pulls her closer, stopping her from running into someone.
"Watch where you're going, children." The man snaps in a way that had Rowanne know he felt entitled. He probably was some rich person in the town that felt he deserved to have people make way for him and whatever other ideas he had. She glowers at his retreating form when she remembers that her arms are still around Margeaux and she lets her go, stumbling over an apology.

Margeaux's breath caught in her throat momentarily at the sudden closeness, turning to look at the man that had snapped. How utterly arrogant. But...it didn't matter - she'd rather it be her than some poor child. Instinctually, she relaxed into Rowanne and found her tongue, ready to reply, but the man was already on his way again. The princess had already forgotten her lady-in-waiting around her, before she was flung outwards, the apology pouring from her lips.

"Rowe, it..." Ah...why was she looking at her like that? "It's okay..." she answered with a half-hearted laugh. "We're just commoners, remember?" Giving her friend an encouraging expression, Margeaux took a hold of her arm, linking their elbows together. "Now...fish? Would you be willing to make some for me when you find said cookbook?"

Rowanne Kinigos / F / Lady-In-Waiting / Rohan, Noitara Pes / Mentions: Margeaux

"Right." Rowanne mutters when her princess reminds her that they were posing as simple commoners. It didn't feel right, though, and it made her burn with anger when someone didn't treat Margeaux with the respect she deserves. Her gaze returns to her friend when she mentions cooking for her. "Make some for you? Oh. I don't know. I might ruin whatever appreciation for eating fish you have ever had." There's a pause and she dips her head in thought as her feet walk the roads to the library. "Of course, I will make some for you. I'm just not confident in my ability to cook just yet. Once I get really good, then I'll allow you to have some."
Rowanne holds the door open to the library for Margeaux and offers a small bow and a warm smile.

Ghadir leads the way to the two's - and soon to be three's - hideaway. "Welcome to our humble abode." Ghadir says with a short bow at the entrance to what is their current home.
Their home wasn't much and it seems obvious that they aren't planning to stay here long. It was a common room and board for any merchant at any rate; it was two and a half rooms consisting of a kitchen/dining area, a bathroom separated from the kitchen with a curtain, and a bedroom with only a table, chair, and bed. It was simple, enough for one person to live in comfortably, and it could fit two if they were determined. Three was pushing it, but Ghadir swore that he could take up less room and he re-arranges his few items accordingly.
"Do you want anything to eat? We've got enough for sandwiches." Shard asks Morgan. Their speech is smooth but their discomfort in having someone new is obvious as they keep fiddling with their gloves and look around the area for something to do and make Morgan's stay more comfortable.
