This is what it's all about for me.
When the sky darkens and the first flurries of snow begin to fall to the ground. Ever slowly the flakes become larger and more numerous until you barely see past your window. The fireplace roars into life behind you as you press your eyes against the glass to get a better look. There isn't much on the ground yet but the flakes are falling steadily. You begin to hope, nay, you KNOW that there will not be school tomorrow. Perhaps even the day after that! You curl into your fluffy blanket and watch the mystical white flakes fall in their slow, uneven rhythm. It's not until you're just about to fall asleep that you realize... You don't go to school anymore and you have a job to go to. Crap baskets...

Lol! I feel the same way, I get excited about snow because I still have that feeling of "OMG NO SCHOOL!!!". Even though it's been almost 4 years since I haven't been in school. Some things just never die.
