He stared at her hand for a moment before shaking it, his grip was icy cold.

"On the contrary, I don't try to make anyone think anything. I see little point - most are capable of doing so themselves. Those who cannot are hardly my concern."

He blinked for a moment, then furrowed his brow slightly. "So... are you going to kill the werewolf, or should I?" he calmly referenced a large barghest that was thundering their way.

Sarah's eyes widened, and she grabbed Black, and pushed him in front of her. "You please." She said shaking with fear. Her voice was wavering and she could barely stand. "I don't have any weapons! D*** I knew i shouldn't have come down here, it was to dangerous. I'm so stupid, please don't let me die." She said and begged as hard as she could. This guy could just easily walk away and leave her here for Mr.Wolfy to eat.

Black bristled upon being shoved, but he nodded slightly and reached down to his side, grabbing hold of the twisted hilt of a thick sword and pulling it forth from its scabbard. The blade was wreathed in flame, a recent addition to his collection from one of the many times that the damned horseman had visited his cemetery home in the last few months.

With his free hand, Black put two fingers to his mouth, letting out a shrill whistle. From Sarah's side, a soft growl could be heard, and a black lupora seemed to manifest from shadow. Bony protrusions erupted from its sides, and where its head should be, was nothing but a thick, fanged skull licked with flames.

"Sin. Defend." The vicious lupora stepped in front of Sarah as Black readied himself. The Barghest was growing closer. "Bring it," he snarled as the beast lunged. With his wings raised as the werewolf collided with him, it was immediately a tangle of man and beast, the two of them slashing and clawing at one another.

Sarah took one look at the creature he called sin and fell in love. "Aw you'r adorable." She said and took a closer look. She was always interested and attracted to weird or creepy things. This dog-like creature made her smile. "You are the cutest freak I ever seen!."

Her attention was soon pulled away from the creature and to the man that was saving her life. Fighting is something she grew use to, but this was brutal. She pulled her healing potion and waited for him to hopefully win.

Unlike Black, Sin seemed to enjoy the attention, not really even seeming to realize she had called him a freak. His tail wagged slightly and he looked up at her with admiring eyes.

Black, however, was a bit more preoccupied. He had already received numerous gashes from the beast, though he had inflicted a fair amount of damage as well. The wolf beast was worse for wear, though did not seem like it was about to give up. With a slash of it's powerful claws, it caught Black on the side, smashing one of the skulls on his belt and knocking him into a nearby tombstone. He paused, panting, watching as the barghest turned its attention towards Sarah.

"Finish what you started you coward," Black hissed, shooting forward. His free hand reached out, gripping the animal by its back leg, pulling it towards him. With his other hand, he readied his sword, plunging it down and through the beast's haunch. It shrieked in pain, spinning on the metal and ripping into the man's shoulder with its teeth. Black grimaced and let out a muffled cry of pain, holding the sword into the animal and tearing it forward. The creature howled out, though it did not release its hold on his shoulder. The two of them remained locked for quite some time, until finally... rrriiippp. The sword forced its way through the beasts ribcage, piercing the animal's lung. After what felt like forever, Black felt the teeth release, and the body of the werewolf fell to the ground beside him.

He stood, nodded, and looked up at Sarah. "See. No prob...lem.." and promptly collapsed into a bleeding heap

Sarah ran over to Black with Sin hot on her trail. "Crap!" She yelled and immediately started to patch him up with the healing potion. "The gashes are really deep. It'll take you a week to heal!" She said with a worried tone. She had just meant this guy but she felt if he died it would feel just as bad as when her mother died. There was something about him that made her feel happy, like she was finally climbing out of that abyss and he was the one holding the rope."Just don't die okay idiot." She said and began rubbing the potion on thicker hoping that he doesn't overdose on it and die. She wasn't sure his age but they looked around the same.

Black winced slightly, the healing potion stung but he was familiar with pain. This wasn't the first beast that he had fought here. On the contrary, he had dealt with a number of them.

"Just... leave it.." he grunted and winced. "I'll be.. fine. I have... stockpile," he leaned forward to stand, grunting as he held his side. "Don't waste your..." he grimaced and leaned back. "...Fine."

Sarah winced as he laid back down. "Let me take care of you tonight, please." She asked hoping he would say yes. He was in bad shape and she didn't think she could leave him like that with the way things went today. The werewolf was a huge surprise because they normally don't hang around these parts of the graveyard, and an even bigger surprise was when the wolf attacked suck a skillful fighter. It should have just left us alone. He was clearly outnumbered and out skilled.

Black frowned slightly, holding a hand to his side. "...Tonight? It's barely morning... that's a whole... day away." He sighed. "...Look I'll be fine. There's a merchant... stationed in the... farms nearby... one of those.. faerie types. She heals." He spoke short words in between heavy breaths.

Looking over at the large wolf beast, Black grunted. "Probably... all the damned... noise... that drew it...out in daylight."
