"I'm not grumpy" Snows sighed. "I just have a stressful job and barely any time to my self! How would you react to that huh? If that was your job, a stressful one, would you act to cheerful like you are now?"

Looking down at the forest floor, she practically whispered, "My mother died and my father abandoned me..... I'm just happy so I can make others happy too...." With that she spun around and ran off.

Snows looked at the fleeing female. Abondend? Like Cute and her mother where left my her father? Killed? Like how we found Cute's mother...this female...she almost has the same tragic past as Cute...
Snows called out while following the scent of the zolnixi "Hey wait! I'm sorry I growled and sounded grumpy! Come back a sec will you? Come on!"

Hearing Snows call out for her, she stopped running and let him catch up. "I thought you said that I should get chased into a predators den... That doesn't sound like you care very much..." She was crying now, curled up on the forest floor with her paws covering her face.

Snows looked awkwardly at the floor before speeking. "Well...when you told me about your father and mother...it reminded me of someone I know...she's called Cute...her father abondended her and her mother...we found her as a 2 day old hatchling...we never told her we found her mother dead...she was killed by a preditor...Cute was never told about her mother...though she might of worked it out..."

Gully did not look impressed.

'If the guardians are real guardians they would not be upset because our people are good. If your guardians however are bad and they keep you here against your will my people will do their best to defeat them. The zolnixi's at my city are brave and kind and will not accept corruption/imprisonment and dictation. These guardians of yours can be in peace with our kind or they will be stopped so you can all be free again. I am sure of it. Now if you will excuse me I am a bit tired and should go to sleep.'

Gully walked over to an empty spot where she could rest. So far she did not like these Guardians. Who do they think they are surpressing poor Zolnixi's like that....



Meanwhile in the city a group of Zolnixi was getting ready for their soon to be departure to the forest. Topaz, Shax and Tenshi where in the training area. Black was out to the other not corrupted forest to see if the '' witch'' living there would tag along as well. Tenshi hated that plan. Shax and Topaz didn't care much. More help was good.

(Because some of the people who played resque party members have dissapeard from the rp I am once again the only player for the rescue party. I am going to use the characters the other people gave up though. Kinda. I will not play them but they will be there as ''other minor'' zolnixi that can become bigger if their players ever return or if new players join that would love to play a rescue member. I do this because a proper rescue party would not only have 4 zolnixi in it. Once they leave for the forest pretend they are with about 20.

Whisper stared at Gully with shock on her innocent face. "B-Bu..." Tribe nuzzled her to try and shut her up. "It's okay Whisper...she's just a outsider so she won't understand what the guardians do for us..." Tribe looked at the sleeping gully and clenched his teeth. It she goes around spewing out this stuff she will create a lot of enemies...and not just zolnixie ones...

(Makenna I don't know when you will be back so I am going to move my rescue party foreward now. I will pretend that Black recruited Rose so once your back you can play her )

It was early, the sun had just risen and a warm glow reached the city. At the gate stood Black, his loyal friends Shax and Topaz and his young prodigy trainy Tenshi. Behind them stood 16 other Zolnixi, all paw picked by Black himself. All of them had their own special abilities.

Many Zolnixi had gatherd to wish the rescue party good luck. Families and friends said their goodbye's knowing it might very well be the last time they saw their loved ones. The Family and friends of the missing ones where also there, hoping Black would return them to them.

The king was there as well, but no words needed to be spoken, Enough had been said already, it was time to go. With a nod the king send his most trusted captain to the forest. With one last look did Black say goodbye to his beautifull wife and pups. He would miss them greatly.

Flashback the goodbye

Black shared a close hug with his wife and sons. His eldest Fern was proud his dad was a hero that would save zolnixi's, but Pine who was just a hatchtling was worried he would never see his papa again. His wife was also scared, but understood he had to go.

'Goodbye my love, please be safe and return to us.'

Black looked his darling wife in the eyes. 'No goodbye's, only see you laters my love.'

His wife smiled, a lone tear dribbeling down her cheek.

He turned to his sons. 'Look after your mother you 2, and behave while I'm gone ok?'

'Yes dad.' 2 voices replied. Pine the youngest leaned against his fathers paw. 'You will be back right dad? You wont let the forrest eat you?'

Black grinned. 'Ha, it takes more then a few grumpy tree branches to get this old man down. I might not be as young as I used to be but I still have some tricks up my sleave. Besides I'm probably not tasty enough anyway.'

He ruffeld Pine's head. Then turned to Fern his oldest. 'You are the man in house now, I am counting on you.'

Fern swelled in pride, happy his father trusted him with that task. 'I will look after them, no harm will come to them I will make sure of that.' He promised.

After a few more hugs and kisses it was time to part, with a final see you later Black parted from his family to speak to his fellow rescue nixi's.

End Flashback

The Zolnixi's started to walk away from the city, cheers and yell of suport could be heard from the background, flowers where thrown on their path and a soft music was playing in the back. Those who stayed behind would show their support as well as they could. It was all they could do.

After a while of walking the sounds had faded far into the distance. They had reached the border of the forest. This was it.

(They are not in the forest yet, they will enter my next post)

(it would be funny if after a while of walking in Zolnixi Forest they meet Shadow Night (the male zolnixi you gave me, son of Black). I can imagine the awkwardness :3)

Tribe walked to the centre of the clearing where worn down steps where carved into the rock. He walked down them and entered a large cave with hatchlings running around and mothers and futcher wives walked around talking. Tribe nuzzled one of the htachlings who stopped by him.

Black stared at the edge of the forest. Looking around he espected to see scared and nerveus faces. Instead he saw determined and fired up eyes. All of them came knowing exactly what the risks where. They where willing to risk them.

Black was proud of every zolnixi he picked.

'Ok everyone, there is no telling what we will encounter once we go inside but I can tell you this, we ain't going to let ourselves get beaten. So far the forest has taken travelers/children and other unprepared Zolnixi's. Now it will have warriors ready and armed. We will not be defeated so easy, we will safe our friends and family, we will save this forest and we will stop the source of it's corruption.'

'Keep your calm no matter what, stay close to eachother and don't work alone.'

Everybody nodded.

Black turned back to the forrest and spoke in a serious tone. 'There are very powerfull and dangerous creatures waiting for us behind these trees wanting to kill us. Creatures who have scared 2 generations of kings from acting out.'

Black then smirked. 'Let's go say Hello.'

And the Zolnixi's entered the forest.

(Fot it to be realistic some of the rescue party members will die later on, but I decide when they do, and I will also give every character that dies a personality and picture before they die so that their deaths really have impact and mean something. Yeah cruel I know, introducing a new character someplace random only for it to die. Don't get attached to new faces haha) There is a total of 20 but all are handpicked by Black and very skilled and brave. 10 will survive for sure, maybe more depending if a lot of people end up joining. In my mind the 2 Rjay entered are part of the party as well but I just wont play them and the one from Makenna is there but I assume she will play that one once she is back. )
