@Junco, how awesome to find another ska fan! I got to hang out with the Toasters after a show they played while I was in college. Just sat there in thrall, listening to them talk over a late supper at the local college diner. I remember the sax player ate grilled cheese and tomato, and the singer complained about how his false teeth were bothering him. When I got up the nerve to ask him why he had false teeth so young, he explained that he'd gotten into a fight with Jerry Dammers of the Specials in like 1985 and had gotten some of his teeth knocked out.
Got to add another cover song fave, now that I think of it. Goldfinger did a version of Nena's "99 Luftballons" that makes me dance every time I hear it.
