Ember sunk onto her bed, listening as her roommate left. She pulled out a sketchpad and started drawing angry, hard scribbles on the paper, tearing the page. She sighed, tearing out the page and started sketching a dragon, her wings twitching. She lost motivation quickly- the dragon looked more like a horse- and dug through her bag for the little money she had from her measly part-time job. 50 bucks. She groaned, hoping the school had free food, and pulled out her phone, pulling up directions to the markets. She left her room, taking the stairs two at a time and accidentally tripping. She tumbled, landing hard on the ground and skinning her knee. She winced as she stood up, taking the stairs slower. What a great start to her day.

"Oh!" Sienna wheels around at the sound of a voice. "Hello?" She walks out of the kitchen with a curious Coral following. Sienna is suddenly hit by a wave of anxiety as she spots a person, a fairy, standing in the room.

After about ten minutes that somehow felt like an eternity, an old man wearing old-fashioned robes and radiating energy walks out with a little dear-looking creature in tow, as well as a highly attractive boy that she feels she recognizes. "Thank you sir." The boy says to the old man who is probably the headmaster, and bows. "No problem, anything for a Merle. You lot would rip this school apart from the inside if I denied you." Replies the headmaster with a calm tone, though the words he was saying should have come with a scared tone. Merle? Chilli wracks her brain, recognizing the name from somewhere, she just didn't know where...

All of a sudden her eyes go wide and she jumps from her seat, terrified in the circumstances but also curious. I need to leave right now. She tells herself, but is unable to move or speak, so she just stands there looking like a scared rabbit. "Go along Jackson, I have another student to speak with." The headmaster says, waving to the boy before turning to speak to Chilli. Before leaving, Jackson flashes a smirk that could have been either flirty or vicious. Or more terrifyingly, both.

"Now, what can I do for you?" The headmaster asks, leading Chilli to the office. "Uh..." Chilli responds, having completely forgotten what her task had been, she freezes once again, and then her eyes go even wider upon seeing the name on the headmaster's desk. "Merlin Ambrosius". Seeing her recognition, the headmaster smiles and answers the questions she had not even said aloud yet. "Yes, I am that Merlin, the wizard." He laughs, and then continues. "I see you are on some sort of mission to clean up some shattered glass? Here." He grabs a stamp from his desk and uses some sort of spell to make Chilli's ID card float from her pocket before stamping a symbol on it and making the card float back into her pocket. "Run along now, I have important work to attend to." He says, shooing Chilli out of his office and typing away on his computer.
