Aaron heard the two arguing. She briefly glanced at them and shook her head. It was rather sad to watch two people go at eachother. She stood up and wiped off her plate to put it away. She just wanted to get out of here before she got too frustrated and did something brash. She had gotten in fights before because of her frustration, and while she had come out mostly unscathed, she hated the feeling after when she realized what had happened. She was usually lucky enough not to be messed with unless she was the one messing.

She laughs softly. "We are a family of fox-lovers. Rhia even tamed one, about a half-year ago."

She nods. "Yes, Rhia told me of how she'd tamed her. I find that sweet to be honest, most animals are scared of me."

Well, the moan that came from the boy changed pitch into a shriek and this time Vicky couldn't help herself. She glanced over her shoulder and saw one of the Skulls grinding his foot down while the other flicked slop from a ladle onto the unseen figure below. "What about the guards?" She asked. "Surely they don't allow this."
"They don't care," said Jack. "Nobody does. You shouldn't, either."
But she did. Every fiber of her body wanted to step in and help, and every fiber of her body also wanted to stay on that bench and forget it was happening. She thought that any minute she'd literally be torn in two, reduced to a quivering, bloody mess on the canteen floor.

Well, it was the smallest of things that made up her mind. One of the Skulls looked up at his friend and flashed him a wicked smile. It was an expression she knew well, she'd seen it a thousand times at school. Before she even knew what she was doing she was out of her seat, ignoring the protests from Jack. Her blind rage drove her across that room like a bulldozer. She pushed straight past the inmates still waiting to be served and jumped onto the counter.

She smiles sadly. "I wish she didn't get forced to go there. I don't think many people realized how much brighter she makes a place..." She goes silent for a moment, then clears her throat. "But, now that she's there, she's making peoples' lives better who legitimately need it."

She bites her lower lip. "Being honest, she actually made my life better. I mean, seriously, I don't like being around to many people. But she's really sweet, and she makes me feel like I'm able to come out of this shell I've made over the years. She's a good friend, a very good friend."

Aaron was about to leave when she saw Victoria jump atop the counter. She quickly hurried over and grabbed her, pulling her away from Skulls. She nearly growled at them before practically dragging Victoria away. She sat Victoria down. "Eh, don't do that." She hissed. She kneeled down. "They'd tear you apart. They may still try hun. Calm down and let's get out of here." She whispered.

She chuckles softly. ,, Thats what she does. Shes so cute that everybody wants to protect her, and then she goes and makes them a better person. Its like magic! ,,

Vicky looked at the girl who had just pulled her away. Adrenaline was pulsing through her, and looking back at the Skulls still beating up that kid only made her more upset. "But..." she began to protest, not wanting to leave the kid back there to most likely get killed. Most people had already left the canteen, leaving the boy to fend for himself.

Aaron squeezed her arm. "You are new. Easy to pick on. If you try to help, there will be two beat downs today. Let's get out of here before they are done. I don't want to have to throw hands today." She said. She stood up and signaled her to follow before beginning to walk away.
