"Ok Layla, you can have one cookie before class and two cookies after," Alyra laughs, and then waves goodbye to her and Oliver when they reach her dorm, slipping inside and instantly feeling the hit of the paint fumes because of her heightened shifter senses, though it's not as bad as it could be because she left the window open. However, it is now cold, so she turns on the heater and then unzips on of her bags of luggage, digging out a suitable outfit and putting it on, then tying up her long thick hair in a ponytail that will surely be tangled and difficult to get out later. She stares in the mirror for a second, remembers what Jameson had said to her in class earlier. If the most popular guy in school thinks i'm pretty without makeup, do I need it? she thinks, considering things, and decides on putting on makeup anyway, being too insecure to purposely not wear any. Then she brews three cups of tea in preparation for Layla and possibly Oliver coming over, thinking they'll probably want something to drink before gym class because water is important.

Layla

She knew her brother couldn't get away from her if she actually tried to get him, but instead she just sighed and went to her dorm. Realizing she hadn't unpacked anything yesterday, she rifled through her bag and found an acceptable outfit for exercise. She looked into the mirror and tried to braid her hair the best she could, messing up a few times when she forgot that the mirror. . . well, mirrored her. Finally taking out her makeup bag and doing some light makeup, with waterproof makeup so she wouldn't sweat it off. She deemed herself good enough to go out again and quickly headed for Alyra's dorm.



Oliver

He knew Layla was letting him off easy, this time at least. But he knew that was going to get her to participate in the class. So it was technically for her own good. He made it to his dorm and picked out something that would work. He sat in his dorm for a bit before deciding to go to Alyra's dorm, thinking that was sufficient enough time for Layla to finish getting ready.

When Alyra hears a knock on her door, she opens it to see Layla and Oliver standing there. "Oh, come in, I've just made some iced tea." She tells them, holding the door open and standing clear of the walk so that that can pass through. "And I'll grab the cookies in a second," She's sure to inform them of that, because she can tell that she probably isn't the only one with a strange cookie addiction in the room.

The test had been harder than he expected, but it was okay. Gym was next. Ethan exited the math classroom and started wandering toward the gym. It would be a chance for him to clear his head, to get fully absorbed in something he kind of enjoyed. It was better than math, at least.

Cole

Cole knew he failed the test, but felt almost joyful that P.E. was next. He was partially good at that. He walked over to a gym locker and changed into some gym clothes.

Alessandra
Alessa scoffed as the boy left. "What, I don't even get to know your name?" she shouted after him, and heard a reply. "It's Teddy." she heard him say, and Alessa checked her watch. Crap! She thought. I'm late for class! She shifted into a wolf and ran back to Scorchwood High. She ran into the gym, not knowing she had missed a class entirely.

Layla

"Okay. I'd like some iced tea, if that's alright." Layla quickly walks past Alyra and to the kitchen counter. "What kind of cookies did you make?" She leaned onto the counter, happy with the current situation and desperately trying to forget what would happen in the near future. Don't worry about gym.

Oliver

He slipped in after Layla. "You did always love your sweets." He joined her at the kitchen counter. "I'd also like some iced tea, though. Best to stay hydrated. Especially before engaging in exercise." He smiled. "Plus, it might help her with her slight. . . addiction?" He glances over at Layla.

"They're pumpkin chocolate chip cookies," She answers Layla, handing her a cookie and a glass of iced tea, then giving Oliver a cookie and a glass of iced tea as well. "Sorry if the tea is too sweet, I always make mine with a exceptionally large amount of sugar, and I forget that most people don't like that.

Layla

"I may not normally like sweet iced tea, but I can tolerate it. And honestly, unless you put so much sugar in it that it became a simple syrup, it can't be that sweet." She shivered, recalling how the tea tasted and how the spoon could stand up in it by itself. She nibbled on the cookie, not sure what to expect as she'd never had pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, but was pleasantly surprised by the taste.

Oliver

"Oh yeah. . . I forgot about that. It was disgusting. If you ever meet our aunt in passing, do NOT get iced tea from her." He took a sip of his iced tea. "To be honest, your tea isn't that bad."

"Ah, well, good to know it isn't THAT bad," Alyra laughs, eating a cookie and then checking the time to make sure they don't end up late to gym class. "Oh snap!" She quickly drinks the rest of her iced tea and then rinses the cup out in the sink. "We only have five minutes to get to class!" She informs them, panicking a bit, having planned to be a perfect student for in-person schooling, because home-school was very uneventful, so she wanted to stay on top of studies while also having friends.

Layla

Layla looked absolutely unbothered, sipping her tea slowly. It's pretty sweet, but I'll grin and bear it for Alyra's sake. "You two should go first. I can just use my super speed to get there in time. You could also fly there Alyra, which should cut your time by at least a little bit. You would be on your own, though, Oliver." She took another bite of her cookie, finishing it off.

Oliver

"Geez, thanks for the vote of confidence, sis." Layla shrugged, as if she were only stating a fact. He quickly drank the rest of his tea and picked up his cookie to eat on the way. "She's right though. If we want to get there in time, we would have to leave now." He starts walking toward the door, motioning for Alyra to follow.
