She instantly shook her head.
" No. Why would I hate you? Give me one good reason."
She swore if said because of where he worked she was going to lose it.

*Because you lie to me about being happy. Because you dont want to talk to me and just fakes happiness. You are amazing and kind and sweet, but thats only an act. You dont show me, someone trying to be a freind, to help you.*

" I've never said I was happy. I also haven't said I was unhappy. I never said that I don't want to talk to you. You can't possibly know when I am happy or not. Once again I don't want to have friends. You should know that there is no point in helping me. I am here to pay for a crime."

He stared sadly, beofre actually beginning to cry.

Wait, what?

It took her about 5 seconds to process that he was crying. Her reaction was otherwise instant.
" Oh fu- flip. Why are you crying? Don't cry. Please don't cry. Please stop crying."
She had come over to him and was not right in front of him hovering. She had no idea what to do, and she was pretty sure that the panic was evident in her voice.

He continued to cry

She still didn't know what to do. Do you give crying people hugs? Would that cross boundries? What else could she do? An idea struck her. She got to his eye level and set a hand on his shoulder.
" Take a deep breathe in. Can you do that for me?"
She had no clue of this would work.

he took a shaky breath.

" Good! That's good. Just breathe in, then breathe out."
She decided to breathe with him. She was a little stressed out by this whole interaction.
