Riley was still confused about the whole poison part of the dragon hybird, but he wasn't going to question it since Shade was a hybrid, not completely human nor completely dragon. He was guessing poison was a dragon thing since he didn't know any human that did that. Riley didn't understand exactly why Shade wanted to kill everyone else, but that wasn't his place to ask he was pretty sure, so he tried to keep quiet about that too.
Riley slips his hands into Shade's, smiling. He was happy with Shade and Shade was happy with him. It was perfect!
Except for the fact that they were stuck miles under the earth in a place that was for hardened criminals and doesn't serve proper meals and has danger lurking in every corner and is guarded and has curfew and is very strict...
Apart from that, everything was perfect!

Yes, despite all the craziness and oddities here, things where perfect with the two.
Shade smiled happily, a real happy smile, and gingerly held Riley's hands in his own. His tail was still wagging, he was actually happy. A faint dizzy-spell like wave washed over him a bit and he winced faintly, swaying just a bit before seeming fine again.

Shade nodded, although his eyes flickered that golden color. "Y-yeah, sure." Hm, Shade doesn't stammer often. Very little if at all, and usually it isn't when he's perfectly fine. He did say he self poisoned, but could he take his doses down here?

Riley gives him a questioning look, pretty positive that Shade wasn't telling the truth and not liking the feeling inside of him that came with that.

The hybrid simply squeezed Riley's hands gently. "I'm alright, just a small dizzy-spell of sorts. Nothing to worry about."

"Do you get small dizzy-spells often?" Riley asks. He figured that if it was 'nothing to worry about' it must occur often enough, but he wanted to make sure.
