"Okay. Life is full of mysteries, isn't it?" Riley says, reaching up to brush a finger over the scarlet blush, trying to remember what Shade had said in an explination about the dragon child's blush, pretty sure Shade had noted that it was different than a human's blush.

He nodded, swallowing slightly audibly. His eyes seemed less ruby in coloration and more golden so to speak, those black freckle scales seeming to have a hint of rainbow coloration to them for a moment.

Riley smiles, glad that Shade didn't look as angry currently. Shade was quite handsome at any time, but he was really stunning when he wasn't that angry, "You're really handsome when you aren't angry at anyone." Riley notes, before kissing Shade.

Now his blush goes full out, but he tenderly kisses back. His tail is shyly twisting in and out of knots.

Riley smiles agains Shade's lips, before hesitantly attempting to deepen the kiss.

Heart racing and mind confused, Shade lets him. Just, helps along a bit.

Riley kisses Shade until he runs out of breath. He leans back slightly, smiling up at Shade, glad that Shade loved him back.

Shade smiled back, blushing like all heck and trying to calm his breathing and racing heart. There was a new emotion in those hurt and rage filled eyes, love. A soft, kind and real love.

And Riley likes the change, the new emotion, in Shade's eyes. "I'm serious, when you're not angry, you are extremely handsome. Of course, you're beautiful at any time. Wait, tell me to shut up." Riley says in a tiny bit of a panic, afraid he was saying/would end up saying something wrong.

Shade laughed softly, not a sharp cackle or anything. A real, gentle sound like delicate wind tenderly swirling autumn leaves. He gingerly cupped Riley's cheek in a palm. "Thanks I guess, I'm assuming those kind words for humans. And please, your voice is far to sweet to be just shoved down."
