Leah shifted her head to the left a little and stared at the girl. When she said half human did she mean she was a karkutor half breed? "Half... Human?" She asked curiously. She had so many questions now to ask this girl that her wings, hair, and eyes were changing yellow with excitement.

Sophia smiled and let go of the struggling Ellar. "Do you have any games or maybe people that you like to play or hang around with?" She asked with a hopeful smile. She wanted to make friends and the mayors daughter seemed like a perfect person to show her people around this town. She lived no where nearby but maybe...

"Huh. Mind telling us why? I thought it was the opposite. Only childs and the youngest few are favoured... Aren't they?" Stratos asked, trailing off. Kakutors did things differently, so he could be wrong. But then again. He did say he had... Wait. "Seven... Eleven...!" His eyes widened slightly. "What?! How many children did your parents want?!"
(7brothers, 11 sisters. I just had to make that reference.. accidentally XD))

Alice looked surprised as parts of the girl changed yellow. She fiddled with the bottom of her robes before speaking again. "Y-yes..I am...a half breed..." she said in her usual voice.
Joke snuck up behind Alice and stood to her side. His eyes where narrow as he stared at the other girl. "What's wrong with you? Changing colour! " he said trying to get her angry but only heared a irritated sigh from Alice.

Ellar thought. "Well...er...there was a girl called alice I knew...but then something happened to her and she went all quiet...and joined a church like place...you know...the one trying to make peace with kakutors? Well anyway...I don't know a lot of people who wouldn't be in the mines riht now..."

Zecu growled angrily. "You really know nothing...the older you are the stronger you would be...and plus the order of things didn't help...younger kakutors get beaten up...because they won't be that strong to fight back..." he sighed with his arms rossed. "And yes...I had that many siblings...and that made it even more hell for me and he youngest..."

Leah could see her wings changing to a slate black. "Why do you care, just because I change color doesn't make it your problem." She said and stuck her tongue out like a two year old. she was tempted to make faces at him but she didn't want Alice to think she were to immature. "Now why don't you let the grown ups talk." She muttered, turning her attention back on Alice. "Which means your part Karkutor?" She asked, she could hear the hope in her voice.

Sophia thought about it for a moment, but she didn't think it was a good idea. "Are the mines safe?" She had to ask because she had never been. She had heard stories of parts of the mine collapsing and killing hundreds of miners. She didn't know if she wanted to risk it.

Joke growled in annoyance at her reply to him.
Alice nodded. "My mother...was******d by a kakutor..." she explained nervously. "So that makes me half-human and half-kakutor...but I look human and get sick easily...so it's hard to tell isn't it...?"

Joke smiled at Alice and wrapped his arms around her. "But your still pretty to be human looking..." he said to her.

Ellar nodded. "Should be...only thing we should avoid are dark places and kakutors..." she said. "Don't fancy getting killed by a kakutor...or getting lost...but as long as we stick with the main tunnels we will be fine.."

Leah looked away, unsure of what to say. Should she say something personal back or just let it go. "I never met my parents." She murmured, wondering if that was good enough. She had been looking for a Kakutor named Joke. Her mom left a note to seek this individual out but she would have never guessed that it was a Kakutor. "My mom's name was Hope, do you guys know her?"

Sophia smiled and nodded her head. "Sounds great but I never been. You'll have to lead the way if that is alright?" She asked, they wouldn't be getting there any other way. She wasn't from around these parts.

Alice looked at her surprised. "Sorry to hear that..." she then shook her headn "and I am sorry...I do not know a Hope..." she said sadly.
Joke snorted. "I know no Hope..."

Ellar nodded. "C'me on! We can get to a mine enterence quickly if we run! The closest one isn't that far away...so it would take a few minutes that's all..." she said and brabbed her friend's hand and ran out of the house.

Leah turned her attention more on Joke, "This isn't a Joke!!! She told me to find a guy named Joke, and he would explain what happened to her." She yelled, anger taking over causing her wings to turn a darker shade of red.

Sophia struggled ta first to keep up with Ellar, but she soon got a hang of it and matched the girls pace. "How far away?" She asked, she had already used most of her energy today and this was taking the last bit she had.

Joke growled and narrowed his eyes at the girl. "Like I said before freak! I know no.Hope so she must mean someone else you annoying li-" he was cut off as Alicr got annoyed with him and slapped him round the face.

Ellar ran on "Almost...there..." she said and turned a corner sharply. She then suddenly sopped as well as she let go of the girl'ss hand and walked over to a crate with lanterns, wood and a burning fire. She grabbed a lantern and filled it with wood and setting w small bit of wood on fire and putting that inside, setting all the other bits of woods on fire as smoke flew out of a small chimney on top of it as she shut the lantern door.
