#mood: huh, didn't realize i'd meet someone else who doesn't celebrate halloween today

Teddy hadn't celebrated Halloween before moving here either. As he understands it, it's a bit of a tradition in America, in addition to some other parts of Europe. It's been spreading, too, but it hadn't quite caught on yet in his hometown before he moved. So, yes, he gets not celebrating Halloween.

Still. "There's a party on Halloween," he says. "You can come, if you want. It's open invitation." He pauses, shoulder tipping upward in a shrug. "I wouldn't stress about it if you don't like parties, though."

The question draws Teddy's attention. "I am," he affirms. He taps a finger to the black marking his eyes. "This is part of my other form. African Wild Dog."

Alessa
Alessa nodded, considering if she'd actually go. " Do you have to dress up? Because it'd honestly make me feel like a fool." she said, picturing herself in a costume. She almost felt her lips curl into a smile, but stopped herself.

(I might have Alessa actually go to the party, I made an owl costume by using the Sylestia wardrobe.)

Cole
Cole walked out of the hall, walking down the three flights of stairs. He walked out of the school, thinking. He sat by the stairs, trying not to think about Sasha. If he did, he would convince himself to help her, and probably get himself killed too.

(I don't know about Cole though, I can't think of a costume for him lol. Earlier I was thinking dragon, then Oliver said he wanted to be one, soo, idk.)

(I was thinking dragon for mine as well because I thought it was such an original idea, but it turns out it wasn't because at least two other people had the same idea )

Alyra, feeling a bit hungry, tip-toes over to one of her bags and unzips a hidden pocket to reveal a gigantic bag of cookies. She grabs three and then tip-toes back over to her bed, laying down to eat and read. All of a sudden, she hears a tap on her window, and almost jumps out of her skin in fright. Quickly and quietly, she slinks over to the window to check what's outside, only to see a tree branch tapping on the glass because of the blowing wind. "Sheesh, I should probably get that cut down," She whispers to herself, going back to her bed once again to read and finish eating her night-time snack.

Ethan paces, wondering if he made the right decision. Of course he did! He sighs and shakes his head, turning to a lighter subject. He thinks about what he is going to be for the Halloween party, but it's hopeless. He already knows what he's going to be, it's almost too easy. An assassin is a little on the nose, but still a good coustume. He sighs.

Cole
Cole stood up and walked back into the school. He climbed the stairs to his room, picked up his key, and unlocked his dorm room. He opened the door and sat on the couch. Dust flew off it and Cole groaned. Today's Halloween, right? He asked himself. There shouldn't be any classes on a holiday, so I could go down to the market to buy furniture. He thought, starting to walk out of his room yet again.

Alrya wakes up the next morning, Halloween, drooling on a book. She had passed out while reading the night before, and hadn't realized it. Gosh darn it. She thinks, jumping to her feet and rushing to paint all of the walls in her dorm. Ok, it's 7am and classes start at 9:30am, so I should have time to paint and then rush downstairs. She decides, and starts painting the living room a shade of light grey, having taped the baseboards and ceilings to prep for painting the night before.

(Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you get lots of candy, but not diabetes! Unless you already have diabetes, then that sucks and i'm very sorry about that. But good luck and have a good day!)

(First off, I would like to say Im sorry for not posting until now I thought it would be boring for me to just say my characters were asleep lol. Secondly, happy Halloween! And thirdly, I only said dragon because I knew there were many dragon related items in the sylestia wardrobe haha.)

Layla

Layla wakes up at 7 AM. Which is impressive, because she went to bed at 7:45 PM the previous night. Nothing like 11 hours of sleep to make you feel extra tired. It's quite tempting to just sit here until I absolutely have to get up. But unfortunately, I don't have that time. Reluctantly, she managed to drag herself out of bed and grab her paint cans. Layla dug around for something to paint with and soon finished the first layer of paint, set to dry during the school day, at about 8 AM. She finally gets herself ready and looking good enough to make a good first impression on the first day.

Oliver

Oliver had woken up early, feeling great, of course. He decided that his sister was likely awake by then and headed to her dorm. After a bit of scuffling behind the door, it finally opens to show a well-dressed, but obviously tired Layla. She wiped her eyes, before saying in a scratchy voice, "Are you going to accompany me to my classes too, now?" The smell of paint was evident. "Well, I was going to check how you were doing this morning, but that sounds like a good idea too." He smiled.

Cole then notices students running back and forth from the hallway. Oh, crap. Nevermind, I guess there are classes. He thought, then started to walk down the stairs. He also noticed that he had no idea which class was first.

After finishing with painting the walls at around 8:30am, Alyra rushes to one of her bags and grabs out an outfit, then goes to take a shower to wash off the paint from her, blow dries her hair, and gets dressed, running out the door at about 9:15am with a bag in one of her hands and a basket of pastries in the other. She gets to the first class of the day, english, and sits down beside a semi-familiar looking guy who she assumes is unfortunately not single because wowza that boy's something. Oh shoot! She thinks, remembering that she had forgotten to put on makeup that morning, and tries to hide her face with her hair.

confused about why such a beautiful girl would be hiding her face, jameson leans over and brushes her hair out of her face, making her freeze with a deer caught in headlights. then he whispers in her ear, "you should go to the halloween party tonight, it'll be fun, and i'll be there." he grins with a sly smile, and after getting a good look at her face thinks damn, she gives even my girlfriend a run for her money, and stares at her for a moment before roxanne arrives, and he pretends that he hadn't even noticed alyra. "jamie! gues what!" she tells him excitedly, and sits in his lap, kissing him. "what." he asks, tho it sounding more like a statement. "my parents agreed to get the chocolate fountain!" they continue their convorsation about things about the party for a while. meanwhile jameson sneaks glances and winks toward alyra all the while
