"It's a saying I learnt from my parents. It's to warn for the dangers of unnecessary investigation or experimentation." Miku replied with a laugh. "'curiosity killed the cat' could be reference to those who died from exploring the cave." Silver nodded, then strolled over to Zecu, nudging his leg before jumping back.

Zecu growled angily athe furry crature that nudged his leg and raised his large arm threateningly. "Okay..." hs said, carrying on the conversation as he glared at the creature that nudged his leg. "But what is the cat?" He asked. "Is it another freak from the surface?!" He said with a slightly angry growl.

"A cat... Is like a smaller version of Lethe, maybe about half of Silver's size." Stratos said, as he frowned, disproving of Zecu's choice of words. "And yes, from what I heard it comes from the surface as well."
The wolf nodded once again, and bounded back to Miku when the girl whistled. "Ah. It seems Silver wants you to explore with us." And as strange as it sounded, the wolf nodded yet again, nuzzling Miku's leg.

Zecu nodded at the frowning male. "Right...so another freak..." he then looked at the female and snorted. "Travel with half-breeds who hanv out with freaks...because that really wont make me seem weak like the moron Joke who wants to mate witb a half-breed female..." he growled.

"Weak?" Stratos asked, deadpanning. "So falling in love makes you weak?" He said hint of disbelief. Miku rolled her eyes at that, ignoring the implication Zecu had said, in favor of asking another question.
"So who's the girl?"
"More like what sort of name is Joke." Stratos added, scoffing. "His kife must reflect his name."

Zecugrowled angrily at the male. "Even though his name is that of a human word and he is a fool for wanting a female from the town yu live in...he is still a veru cunning Kakutor who could be standing infront of you and you would not even know!" Zecu said angrily, he was angry at joke for liking a half breed but hewas als one of Zecu's closest friends. "So you best be careful of what you say!!"

Stratos rolled his eyes. "Oh? So he has the ability to turn invisible? Ow!"
Miku had grabbed Stratos by the ear, kicking his legs out under him. "H-hey! Stop it!" He whined, wincing.
The female snorted. "Apologize."
With a click of his tongue, the male made a hurried apology, before rubbing his swollen ear that had just been released form a vice-like grip. "Woman, has anyone told you how strong and hot you can be?"
Miku laughed. "Why yes, dear sir. So Zecu, who's this Joke guy?"

Zecu growled at the male.

He then looked at the female and smiled, showing yis teeth. "At least a half-breed does know not to insult their possable death..." Zecu said, attempting a compliment. "Joke is the eldest of his many siblings and very respected to a group of Kakutors, unfortuently they don't count liking a half-breed for a mate a weakness...but Joke is...hollow..." Zecu paused. "We assume anyway...because he has a unique talent...the only Kakutor known to do this so far...to look...human..."
Zecu then did a smug look at the male. "Though his real form is much larger and more deadly..." Zecu did the smug look once again. "Which is why you could be talking to him and notknow his danger levels..."

"Huh. I'm guessing that was a compliment..." Miku muttered, as Stratos got up, ear still red.
"So looking like a human is a talent?" With a huff Stratos brushed off the dirt on his shirt. "Interesting."
"So this Joke guy, he your friend or something? He does seem pretty... popular... And well-known. You say 'to a group of Kakutors', though, so what group is this?" Miku asked, cradling Silver in her arms, who had just jumped into her arms. "Boy, we have to get you on a diet!" She added with a laugh, tickling her wolf, causing the canine to jump down and run to Lethe, laughing. "So Joke goes out of the mines to the underground city?"

Zecu sighed in irritation.
"The group is a group of respected kakutors who have sstarted...clearing the pests..."he said. "And joke has done his part...yes he does sometimes go into your home and burns a few nests down, killing people while he does so..." Zecu smiled a cruel smile. Though he avoided the uestion about Joke being his friend. It wasn't the best news to get out to half breeds who would tell everyone...
