Sarah felt arms under her but she never opened her eyes. Not until she felt the ground safely beneath her feet. She opened her eyes to see the black haired male was her savior. She wondered if she was wrong about everything she witnessed with these guys. They seemed to be a lot nicer than she suspected. When he let her go she immediately fell to the ground. He legs felt so weak and her head was heavy. Unable to keep her eyes opened any longer she faded into a world of darkness.

Her thoughts were dark and she was back in the alley she grew up in. She was hiding behind a dumpster but she was confused, what was she hiding from. Looking down she saw that her pants were tattered but it was no surprise, seeing as she had no money to replace them. Looking up she saw a shadow on the wall but it wasn't her own. She could tell because the shadow was moving closer to her but she wasn't moving at all.

Fear surged through her body and she pushed herself as far back as she could go against the wall. She didn't know why she was so afraid but that shadow seemed so menacing, so... Familiar.

Jace watched as someone fell out of the tree and he snickered. He wasn't going to do anything to help this person seeing as she had been stalking him for the last four hours. Watching her open her mouth but no scream came out caused him to smile even more. He turned to look at Ishida real quick but the male was gone. Turning back to the female he saw that she was gone to.

Blinking in confusion he looked up and saw that Katsumi had her in his arms and was barreling towards the ground at crazy speed. He watched as the his counterpart did everything to slow down and landed safely. It didn't surprise him that Katsumi was good at flying and had great reflexes because if what Katsumi was saying, it runs in the family. He watched as the female opened her eyes and looked up at her savior. He could see the uneasiness in Katsumi's eyes and he sat her down and walked away.

Jace wasn't sure what happened next but the girl collapsed and closed her eyes. "Great! You gave her a heart attack." He muttered with a smile. He didn't know why but seeing a human so weak and defenseless, laying on the ground made him happy. He slowly walked over towards her and kicked her in the side three times. She didn't move besides from his kicks and her eyes didn't open. "Do you think she is dead?" He asked and kicked her motionless body again.

Senja slipped the carving in her pocket and fell into step beside Anzai. She was glad to be on the way.

"What did you do and Aqua do in the market, Senja? When we set up camp I plan to see if we can take stock of all of our supplies to see if we have all that we'll need or if we'll need to stop at the next city." Anzai looks out the corner of her eye at Senja and one hand is fiddling with her scythe blade out of boredom.

Katsumi blinked. He did that to humans sometimes. Except.... it was usually when they were awake, and not unconscious. The half shook his head. "Nah. Humans may be weaker than us, but they are stubborn. Most will not give up life so easily." He spoke from experience, remembering when he had dealt a total of 16 stabs to a man, but the human still refused to die. In the end, he had to bury the decapitated head.

Katsumi prodded the female in the side with his foot, much more gentler than Jace. "What should we do with her?" He preferred not to have contact with her than what was necessary, and he wouldn't be caught dead carrying a human in his pack's presence. It would be deathly embarrassing. "I'm not gonna touch her again."

A wolf howl echoed in the distance and in response, Katsumi swung his right foot backwards, kicking the tree he had been leaning on, causing a splintering crack to echo through the air due to the amount of force he had used. While it wasn't enough to topple the tree, the trunk now had a dent in it. He almost flinched though, when the girl that lay on the floor started twitching. It seemed that she was in distress.

We bought some potions, cloaks, and food. We also got into a fight with a store vendor and had to resort to magic. So what did you and Lily do?" she said casually.

Kion watched all of the other people milling around. She saw a white haired male heading towards them, it was an odd sight.

"Well we bought a few different things. Dried foods mostly and then we ran into a few new people, that you guys saw just now." Anzai says as she thinks back.

Jace watched her twitch and she was drooling. He never really had much contact with humans and none of them ever fell out of a tree and then passed out in front of him. "I um... I have no clue. What the hell do you think is wrong with her?" He asked, trying to ignore the wolfs howl and Katsumi kicking a huge dent into a tree. He never spent time around anyone to be matter of fact. Talking to people wasn't his strong suit and animals hated him.

The wolf howling sent chills up his spine. He wondered if the wolf was part of Ishida's so called family. Maybe his brother, or mother? He didn't know. Staring down at the female, he grimaced. He could feel something horrible about he, something just didn't seem right. Her falling out of a tree and than passing out wasn't just a coincidence. "Maybe... Maybe we should take her with us?" He asked, his voice coming out in a grumble. "She could have secret information.." He muttered and kneeled down next to her.

Her face was twitching and it seemed her dream wasn't going the way she wanted. "It seems you took a liking to her pretty quickly. You saved her and sat her down gently, so I say you carry her around." He said and smirked up at Ishida. He would feel bad leaving her behind but he didn't want to carry her. He guessed in a way, that this would be a huge test for his possible brother. He would get to see just how far his counterpart's heart and feelings stretched.

Katsumi scowled. No way was he going to carry her. And he, take a liking to her? As if! The scowl turned soon into a low growl. "I would rather not." He stated simply, barely hiding the detest in his voice. "True, I may have saved her, but it does not warrant an immediate love between me and her. For a human, I could not care any less."

He continued staring at the female. Just what should he do? While he had saved her, it was only on instinct, right? Not that he had started liking humans due to his time with them? He shivered involuntarily. To think of such a thing. No, it couldn't be possible... could it? He sighed, looking down, eyes closed in thought.

"Perhaps my time with them has caused me to start liking them, but that does not mean I fancy carrying such filth around. ...Neither do I have much strength, so to carry her for long distances may hurt me instead, as such, I would rather wait for the others to find us. While a howl or caw in response could have surfaced, in a forest such as this, the sound of wood splintering would be a best way of communication by sounds." Katsumi swung himself onto the branch of a tree, crouching.

"Besides, they are not two legged like us, and running would thus be much faster for them, or flying, for there are those who have wings: It will not be long before they reach us. It would be better to wait."

Jace burst out laughing, this guy was in denial and it was humorous. "So... What I heard was, you would rather leave a poor, defenseless maiden in trouble instead of be her knight in shining armor?" He said, looking up at Ishida in the tree. He still didn't understand the guys logic. Breaking things would also attract unwanted attention. "Well, if you're not quiet or at least one with nature, you're going to attract unwanted attention such as this human." He said and kicked her again.

Looking down at the defenseless female, he grabbed her by her hair and tugged her into the air. Reaching into her pouch, he pulled out one of her daggers. Bringing the dagger up to her throat he pushed it against her jugular. "I say we just kill her right here. Than we don't have to worry about carrying her around or her going and telling someone about us." He said, challenging Katsumi.

He wanted the boy to react. He knew he would kill this female if his counterpart didn't react and try to stop him because he wasn't one for bluff. He went through with everything no matter how ridiculous. He had killed that child because the mother wouldn't pay him what she owed. He had told her that he was going to do it. That she owed him and he needed it but she wouldn't listen.
