Alyra, having already thought about costume ideas but couldn't choose just one, takes a deep inhale to have enough breath to say everything she's about to say without stopping. "Welllllll, I was thinking maybe I should go as something scary, because that's what Halloween is about, right? So maybe a dragon? But then I was like, well, maybe I should keep an open mind in case I think of something better. And then I was thinking maybe an Angel, but maybe that's too basic? And then I thought I might just go as a bee, because I like bees, but that might be kinda weird because some people think bees are gross or scary. So then I was thinking maybe some sort of flower, because most people like flowers, so I was thinking of maybe being a rose, but then I was like well roses aren't really all that cute or scary, so I changed my mind again. And now I'm thinking maybe a deerfox, like the ones from Matilda, that netflix show." She runs out of breath and starts breathing heavily. "So maybe you guys could pick?"

Cole gets to Scorchwood and shifts back into his human form. He checked his ID for reference to what room he's in. Cole Forest, age 16, dorm number 613, floor 3/3. He nodded and walked up the three flights of stairs to reach his dorm room. He opened the door and forgot how dirty it was. Dust clung to each piece of furniture and trash was littered everywhere. Noticing it was getting a little dark, he grabbed a broom and dustpan from the kitchen and started sweeping up the mess. After he finished, it was....still messy. He found a closet containing a vacuum and turned it on, cleaning --or trying to clean-- the furniture. Cole knew it would take a while to clean up the entire room, so he just started with the necessities, such as cleaning the bed area, cleaning the dust off of some places, etc. He worked for a while until he heard a thud from outside the dorm. He opened the door to see people moving new furniture into a room. He rolled his eyes. Why didn't he think of that? He turned around and closed the door behind him, continuing his work.

She wasn't going to admit that she almost immediately blanked out on what Alyra was saying. Everything was going in one ear and immediately out the other. "Uh. Well. If you want to be a rose, you'd have to choose an appropriate colors. All flowers have meanings and so do the different colors of roses. So if you want to be a flower. . ." She quickly racked her brain, "Historically, chrysanthemums, carnations, black roses, and red poppies have been associated with death. Which would definitely fit Halloween."
Oliver
"A deer fox would be the easiest to do though. You could just stay in your shifted form and put deer antlers on. An angel would be pretty basic though. I think you really should go with either the flower or deerfox. A disadvantage to the flower, though, is that people would recognize you. Roxanne wouldn't realize it was you if you were shifted all night." He shrugged, confident in his assessment, his signature smirk on his face.

"Yeah I might go with being a Deerfox, but i'm not going to wimp out and just be in my fox form. I'm sure she'll have ways to find me, and if she finds out i've been deliberately hiding from her, she'll know how scared I am and that might make things worse."
"We're here!" The driver yells, letting them know that they have arrived at Scorchwood High.
"Welp, time for some heavy lifting," Alyra laughs, hopping out of the back of the truck with a box of stuff. "Anyone want to open the windows for me? Here's my key," She says, holding out the key to her dorm room to either Layla or Oliver, whomever will open the windows for her to fly through.

She jumped out of the truck and took the dorm keys from Alyra. "I can run really fast, so I can open our dorms and windows before you fly up to the third floor." Plus, it'll give me a bit more time to not worry about having to carry heavy furniture. So, before anyone could contest her, she ran into the building.
Oliver
"Well, I suppose, that leaves us to get the furniture upstairs." He picked up a chair, with seemingly no effort, and got down out of the truck. "Because I know that Layla isn't going to be picking up any of the big furniture."

Alyra giggles, then flies the box she had been holding before up to the window of her dorm and flies through, setting the box gently on the floor and then diving back down to the truck for more stuff, this time picking up a few couch cushions and flying up to Layla's window, piling them up and then flying back down for more. She checks her watch to make sure she has time for some reading, and notices that it is only 7:15pm. perfect timing, we should be done by 7:45 with this many people helping. She thinks while flying an ottoman up to her window.

Cole kept cleaning and then saw something flashing across his view. He looked out the window to see a harpy flying in and out of the window two rooms across from him. He ignored it, but stopped cleaning, and walked out of his room, locking the door behind him.

Layla
Layla ran up and down the stairs, taking small decorations each time. She had gotten into a rhythm, and since her brain was on autopilot, she almost crashed into a shifter that had come out of his room. She, thankfully, was able to stop herself just in time. She realized that it was the same shifter who had been watching them in the cafe. "Sorry, just gonna go by you, excuse me."
Oliver
"I told you she wasn't going to take anything heavy. She never does." He shook his head and continued carrying the heavier furniture upstairs. Hopefully, we'll be done with all of this soon.
(Also, I pinged you Jie, because I noticed you hadn't posted in a bit. Sorry if this was unnecessary haha)

After realizing that there is nothing left that she can carry while flying, Alyra picks up the last item, a couch, and slowly drags it toward her room at snails pace, huffing at puffing, exhausted because the couch probably weighs about two or three times more than she does. "Gosh, I really need to go to the gym," She thinks aloud, still struggling to get the couch up the stairs.

Oliver
He saw Alyra really struggling with the couch and picked one end of it up. "We can switch and I can go backwards instead, if you want. Don't want you to trip and be squished by the couch, do we?" He said it in a half-joking manner. "In any case, this should be one, if not the last, of the big and heavy furniture."
Layla
She dropped off what she was holding and went back downstairs for something else light. I wasn't expecting to see the shifter who was watching us in the cafe here. He looked kinda sad though, so I'm not going to push anything. After realizing that Alyra and her had already taken all the decoration and super light stuff upstairs, she conceded to bringing up a light dining-room chair.
