Black actually managed to smirk slightly, the closest he'd come to a smile in quite sometime, though it didn't last long.

"I have done nothing but what you ask. I was a..."doll" and let go. As for introductions, I hardly think I owe you one. You've come into the place where I live, and attacked without reason. Why, was I to bludgeon you to to a pulp for your actions it would be all too warranted."

He tilted his head slightly. "But someone around here has to act reasonably, I suppose." He leaned back and sat on a tombstone, letting his risen wings down to fold neatly behind him.

Sarah had the most confused expression on her face. "How old are you!? you talk like an old man." She said and couldn't help but let out a giggle. she looked him up and down and just started laughing. "What are you! The god of the underworld! you look like a moron with all those skulls on you." She said in-between laughs. He wasn't unattractive, he just looked a little bit ridiculous.

The man bristled slightly, glaring at her. He didn't respond for the longest time, he was used to it. Those who didn't fear him often mocked him.

"I don't know," he grumbled slightly, after a long silence. To which part he was responding, it was hard to tell - maybe all of them. He turned away from her. "Don't you have a mother to visit?"

Sarah immediately stopped laughing and looked away from him. "No,,, I don't." She said and started kicking things on the ground. She was trying to stop from crying but her eyes kept tearing up. She wiped her eyes and looked at him. "Just go away or something." She said and turned around.

She tripped a few times walking back to the grave because her eyes were blurry from tears. She sat down in the damp grass and just stared at the grave. She knew he was still standing there but he hurt her feelings and she didn't want to look at him. "Are you a lonely person." She said just loud enough for him to hear.

Black had a hard time not leaving right then and there. This girl was an unstable mess, and he didn't need this sort of nuisance. After everything she'd done, she hardly deserved her request granted, but he simply wasn't in the mood to deal with it. He'd leave her alone.

Her question caught his ear as he began to walk away, and he turned his head. Just keep walking, Black.
He sighed, despite knowing better, and turned back to her. "I would have to miss someone to be lonely, kid. And there's no one to miss. So no, I'm not lonely. I'm all I need."

He watched her cry for a moment, it seemed a strange thing to him. "What are you doing that for?"

Sarah looked at him clearly confused and a big snotty mess. "Doing what?" She asked and wiped her face with her arm. She hate crying in front of people, but he talked down to her about her mom. Her mom was the only thing she ever cried about. Sarah was always a leader. She would lead anyone who follows her, so showing weakness in front of someone she JUST meant was hard on her.

"Crying," he answered simply. "You were doing it when I got here... then you got angry and attacked me, then you laughed, now you're back to crying again."

The man reached up to his head and scratched just behind one of his horns. "But I've never seen you here before, and that grave doesn't look all that fresh. I suppose I don't really understand."

Sarah shook her head. "I haven't been here for three years." She said in-between sniffles. "This is my mom's grave, she meant the world to me. She was the only one who took care of me because my dad had walked out on us. she raised me since i was born. It's hard to cope with life when you'r use to somebody being there for you but then ripped away. That's why I asked you if you are lonely. Is you'r mother still alive! Has someone special died that you loved?"

She didn't care to mention that it was her mom's birthday. What would someone like him who doesn't show emotion care that it was her mom's birthday and the exact day her mom died. Most people just ignore her now, and a few tried to take her to the hospital for drugs to help her out of her dark hole. She didn't go because she was use to it, it was the only thing that reminded her everyday that her mom was dead. Without this black abyss pulling her down, by now she would have forgot about her mom.

Black just blinked again.

"I couldn't tell you if she was or not, because I do not know," he let his voice soften. She didn't sound like she was about to jump back up and attack him again. "There has never been anyone close to me that I could mourn. Your pain is unknown to me."

He shifted his weight slightly. "She must have been kind to you for you to miss her so. I am envious," wicked rubies gazed over her shoulder to the plethora of graves behind her. He often saw people come, visit, leave. He never really spoke to them like this though.

"....I'm Black."

Sarah gave him an encouraging smile. "You'r sweeter than you try to make everyone think Mr. Black." She stood up and held her hand out waiting for Black to shake it. She was nervous about letting her guard down but it seems like he needs someone to talk to just as bad as she does, and apparently he has no one. "I'm sarah."
