Manga? OwO aw yes
(I don't watch much anime though)
AngleBeats - Has got to be one of the most touching mangas I have ever read T^T
Black Cat - Really awesome storyline (even though it's a bit old)
Psyren - Super exciting :3 I love how the art is very unique and again, very touching ending
Letter Bee - Not fully translated yet, but some chapters are up, and is also an anime Really good
The God of HighSchool - Very unique view of battles and actions in different scenes. So far, it's really exciting to read (This is a webtoon)
Tower of God - Unpredictable
Ability - OwO the main character is really interesting I love the storyline too :3
Madaka Box - Hilarious

I have a MAL, but I need to update it ... but its here: http://myanimelist.net/profile/StarRot
My favourite anime is probably Kaiji, it's just wonderful. Sadly, not a lot of people seem to have heard of it.
I generally prefer manga, some favourites: Shadow Star, Homunculus, Monster, Ichi The Killer, Gantz and Berserk

I definitely don't read manga as much as I used to, nor do I really watch Anime anymore. I only actively follow a handful of manga these days, but my favourites would probably be;
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Jellyfish Princess
Anything by Studio Ghibli
(These are considered horror and/or include gore, so please PLEASE don't look them up if you're uncomfortable with such things)
Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)
Uzumaki or anything by Junji Ito
Franken Fran
Gantz
And my current favourite, Oyasumi Punpun, which basically ruined me.
Yeah I got between magical girls and horror.
I'm aware of my weird tastes, I am from tumblr after all.

@Callista,
Lol I know all about weird tastes! I watch almost everything! I go from high school, to samurai, to ninja, to romance, to comedie, to harem, to youth series like pokemon, to adult ones for 16+ or above, to vampire, to magicall girls, to animals to.... and the list goes on!!! Lol
I guess I have no taste I like everything, well almost everything. It depends on the characters and story.
I usualy can not stomack gore though so I tend to skip that. Thought sometimes I risk it if the story sound really good. But then I skip the gory parts. One anime I always wanted to see because of the story but never will because I would get super sick is Elfen lied..... shuders
An anime I loved though was Death Note ( I know this is not gore but it is a darker toned anime). I found it an original idea. With the notebook, a battle of brains instead of fighting skills, and having the 'bad guy' as the main guy for once. (Yes I see light as a bad guy, but I am aware opinions differ on that and that is fine )

(ima just jump in the thread here) I particularlly like both ^u^ But i prefer manga more (it takes less time to do and i can avoid nasty loading times) but recently I've been more into Korean webtoons. But ill just list some out that would be easier :U Im going to watch a lot more tough because ive started going to the gym with my mother and turns out the gym has wifi so im going to watch some as i walk with the crunchyroll app on my kindle.
Anime: Madoka magica, Maoyu, fruba, toradora!, and a lot of other ones from the spring of last year but only small amounts of them i never really finished them whoops :Y
Manga: I've read all that I've watched, one piece, Most of CLAMP's works, In the middle of evengelion , Karneval, Magi, Tail star, and assorted oneshots and pretty much anything the random button would supply in mangafox.
Webtoons: Tower Of God, Kubera (one last god), Sambong Barber Shop, I Don't Want This Kind of Hero!, and i read a lot of the companie's scanulations on batoto. (oneshots mostly :U)

An Anime that will always hold a place in my heart is "Wolf's Rain". It was the first anime I watched that contained things NOT suitable for six year olds. And man I was so nervous when I was watching it! XD It was so far out of my comfort zone of Pokémon and Digimon, that I almost quit watching it a few minutes in! I AM SO GLAD I WATCHED IT ALL THE WAY TO THE END. While it was a short series, you got so attached to the characters, and when the story played out, I found myself SOBBING, I was so upset! I mean, it started out innocent *enough* I didn't think they(Story writers) would go so far as to do what they did! ^^" Maybe I over-reacted, but I don't think so.
Hmmm.....Other Anime. Well, I had started to hear a lot about "Soul Eater", so I gave that one a try. XD Really, thinking back on my reaction to the first few minutes....LOL! I had like, a panic attack. I saved that anime for a while later, when I wasn't so sensitive, lol. I've actually started watching it again. I haven't gotten very far, only a few episodes in, but so for it's really awesome! (SYMETRY!!)
"Fairy Tale" is OK, I got bored after a while, so that is stored in the backs of my "Watch when Bored" Mind files.
Hmm...."Sailor Moon". Oh Geeze, that anime! >_< I have no idea If I hate it, or love it!
*Thinking* ....."Ouran High school Host Club" was pretty cool too. I watched almost the entire anime, I only have a few left to watch, but I can't find the remaining episodes on the internet anywhere. ^^"
I tried "DN Angel", but I didn't get past the first three episodes. I found it....rather boring, truthfully.
......I know I've watched other anime as well, I just can't remember them. XD

Oh gosh I implore you to do so it's really really good. Just prepare for the whole mood to do a 180 turn, and it also has triggering content so look out for that add well. But it you stick to it through the low points I guarantee you that you get sucked in like a coin that has the displeasure of getting into the way of a vacuum cleaner.

Wolfs Rain was beautifull. I hated the ending though, but then again after that ending is another ending that makes it a bit ok again. This sound really random but if you watch the anime you prob now what I mean.
I loved Toboe in this. He was so cute. I cried so badly watching this anime. Just looking back on it I get teary eyes. sob sob sob
(Haven't read the manga so I don't know if they have the same ending.)
I just watched Soul eater and I loved it. Though all characters have some random weird or annoying habbit. Lol
I loved Black Star in this.
