He growls at her.

She growls right back, baring those oddly sharp canines again.

"That sounds like a good plan." Riley says with a nod, smiling sheepishly.

Shade gently ruffles his hair in a kind of loving way so to speak, and this guy threatened to rip his arm off the first time they in-ed together. Gosh, he'd softened up a lot. "Good to hear. Let's get to it then, shortey."

Riley picks up the pick (if that wasn't redundant enough... xD) ready to get to work again. And hopefully not impale anyones feet or break his wrist again. Not something he was eager to experience again.

Shade grabs his own with practiced skill and came over. "I'll show you and try slow at first, take it simple, low and easy. "

"OK." Riley says a little bit nervously. He grips his pick with both hands before setting it down and wiping his sweaty palms on his pants. He picks it back up again, watching Shade do it and then trying to imitate it.

Soon Shade lessened his pace and kept a lower upward swing. "Nice and easy, don't bend your back forward. That'll risk snapping it, you wanna keep a straight back but just a little bent. The main strength comes from the arms, nice and easy."

Riley nods, trying to do as Shade says. So far, no broken bones or impaled beings.

He was glad to see that Riley was doing very well, but he stayed close just in case. His wings tight against his back and tail around his right leg.
