You wake up in the middle of the night when your phone buzzes. You pick it up and look at the recent text messages. They consist of this:
Don't Look at the Moon
1,000 people gone missing by looking at the moon
DON'T LOOK AT THE----Look at the moooooooooon!
You hear a noise at your window. "Look at the moooooooooooon!" an oily voice croaks. You take a step towards your window.
Suddenly, a wrinkly, slimy, hand grips you. "Look at the moooooooooon!" The voice hisses. You squeeze your eyes shut as you get pulled out of your room...

McKenna tilted her head thoughtfully, finally pulling open a small compartment you would be able to crawl through if you put in some effort. "Well, there's always this."
McKenna was not earning any 'helpful person' points in any way. Why hadn't she shown you the exit in the first place?

Your head bangs into something you would not like to know as you slip from the thing's hands. The thing emitted a sharp cry before a loud cracking sound filled the room. Then everything went quiet.
You debated opening your eyes or not. If you opened them, the thing might jump out and grab you. If you didn't, you might be stuck in this position forever. Neither seemed like the perfect choice.
