"So we've been told..." Stratos hummed, as Miku laughed, lighting a ball of flame in her palm.
"Well, we best be off soon, I want to explore a little more before heading back up..." She said, as she grabbed another gemstone off the floor. "And see how long it takes to melt one of these."

Silver and Lethe bounded through the caves, using their masters' smell as a guide.
... They just had to tear down walls, didn't they?
You mean Stratos, not Miku... SHe burns them instead. Replied Silver, as they paused briefly outside a torn down wall. At least the scent was getting bigger.
They're close by, let's go
The wolf nodded, and the two picked up their pace.

Stratos chuckled at Miku's words, adding that they needed to get to their pets anyway. As he said so, a wolf and a leopard burst through the hole in the wall that Stratos had made, snarling at Zecu. Both lunged for him as the two halves shouted for them to stay.

Zecu chuckled before he heard snsrling he dpun round just as he saw two creatures he didn't reconise leaped towards him. Before he knew it he had been tackled to the ground by the two creatures.
Zecu let out a inhuman growl and lifted his large arm, getting ready to slice them open.

"Lethe, Silver, back!"
Said leopard and wolf still stayed atop the kakutor, but after a few moments reluctantly backed away, bounding back to their respective companion's side. Silver sat down at Miku's feet, eyeing Zecu wearily. To him, a kakutor meant trouble, no matter what, even if the kakutor seemed comfortable around Miku and Stratos, and vice versa. It was the same with Lethe, and when Silver glanced over, saw the leopard pacing around Stratos' feet in a circle, while the male just sighed, shaking his head.
"I apologize. They've been with us since young, and helped us against Kakutors. You can say that... they're not exactly fond of your species..."

Zecu stood upvand growled, glaring at the animals. "What the hell are thoughs freaks anyway!" He said harshly. He then reached his normal looking hand up and poked the head of the wolf. "Weird..." he growled at it.

The animals snarled and crouched, ready to pounce, when Zecu called them freaks. However, both Stratos and Miku held them down, and the two animals could only glare at the two halves and Zecu. "Silver, Lethe, Zecu. Zecu, Lethe the leopard and Silver the wolf. They're animals. And they don't like being called freaks."

Zecu growled. "A what and a what what?" He said, puffing his cheaks up in a threatening way at the animals. "But the are freaks...they look nothing down here...not slippery like a giant worm..."

"Oh yeah... May have forgotten that kakutors don't see much animals around here.... How to explain..."
"They're basically animals that live in the human - upper - world. I don't know how they got down here though, I merely know that we" Here Stratos meant him and Miku. "were kids we found them, and they stuck with us."
Lethe and Silver growled, but as Stratos said that, they remembered what lived down here and the animals' anger lessened.

Leah ran past what looked like a girl and she stopped dead in her tracks. Without even realizing it she grabbed the girls arm and pulled her with her. They were at a small jog now. "Follow me! It's a Karakutor, you need to get out of here!" She yelled with urgency.

Sophia's stomach growled and she laid her hand over it. She was slightly disappointed that she didn't have anything to at but she did meet the mayors daughter. "It's okay, I'll just be leaving." She said and turned to leave.

Alice looked at thegirl surprised and did a friendly smiled at the girl. "You probably just angered him...Joke is easy to carm..." she said in her half whisper. "Don't worry"
She then stepped in front of the girl and walked towards joke.

Joke spotted Alice walk out in fdont of the girl and halted to the stop. His clawz digging into the ground to not crash into her. "Move..." he growled angrily. Alice shook her head and didn't move. joke hissed in frustrationed and his long neck then streached fowarxs Alice.

Sllar shook her head. "No! Stay! Pleasd!" She begged. "We can do somehing else!" She beggex.

Leah was partially stunned at what the girl just said. "His name is joke..." She whispered. "He tried to****** me!" She yelled, hoping to get this Karkutor into more trouble. She didn't know why but she had always felt more at home around Karkutor then humans.

Sophia stopped and tears stung her eyes. She had never been invited to stay and hang out before. Turning around and wiping away the tears she smiled as widely as she could. "Really?" She asked, allowing joy and happiness to fill her..
